Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to welcome to another exciting episode of the “Kingdom Crossroads Podcast!?”  We are always looking for the latest, greatest and articulate people to come on our program several times per week and give us their opinion on certain issues we see almost every night in the news.

You do know that you cannot trust the news to give you the truth about anything, right? I’m talking ANY of the big networks. They operate for one reason and one reason only – and that is to turn a profit. In other words,  it’s all about the money. PERIOD!  And they  will say whatever it is their listeners or followers will accept.

Well, today, we are going to venture away from that path – it seems like I do this all the time…I try to challenge the status quo all the time…that’s probably one reason we do not grow with millions of followers – yet.  But that’s ok…we doing things the way God has shown us – and that’s all that maters.

Today, I am so blessed to have on the program, Christine Smith.  Christine has a Libertarian background, she is a self employed consultant and creative advisor for both, individuals and businesses. She worked for almost 19 years as a full time freelance writer for national magazines and several newspapers. She has been deeply involved in politics for most of her life and is an experienced speaker AND writer on political topics. She is an avid student of history and she is able to explain passionately, the view point of true freedom on issues affecting, not just this nation, but the entire planet! Glory To Go!

Help me welcome to the program, Christine Smith!  Welcome, Christine!

Ok…that was a lot to digest…so let me start with this first question. I ask this to every person I interview as the first question.  Tell us, “Who is Christine Smith?”

Ok…Now, I want to tell you, I went to your website and looked around. You have a lot of very good information there. Folks, you need to go to Christine’s website and take a look at what I’m talking about.  There is a TON of information there. That web address is www.christinesmith.US  remember that, not dot com but dot US.

Now, Christine, I want to get into the meat of the matter here. I want your viewpoint on the Spiritual Applications of the Donald J. Trump presidency.  Tell us about that.

I know he did a lot of things that are not “Christian like” in the past. Many of them very public. But guess what?  So did I.  Hey – listeners – don’t look at me in that tone of voice…I can hear your gasp right now…and you know  YOU were not perfect, not now, especially not BEFORE you were born again.  It’s  just you did not have all the lime light shining on you like he does.  So I’m not too concerned about what happened 10-12-15 or more years ago. I’m concerned about what is happening right now. Christine, do you believe he is truly born again?  WHY?

Why do you think he is a hero for America?

Now, I do believe that he is an answer to prayer for a turnaround for this nation. I also believe that he is the last warning for a turn around this nation will receive. In my opinion, and I’ve talked with many that believe the same way…there are too many instances to go over them all here…but God has been sending this nation warnings for the past 50 years.

For example, in Romans [1:21]-32, we can see the progressive slide from greatness that God places upon humanity when we turn our backs on him. God provides a series of warnings, limited judgments, that are designed to get our attention off of ourselves and back on Him.

In those verses we can see it. We can also correlate each one of those passages with what has happened in the United States since 1962 when the US Supreme Court, in 5-4 split decision, decided to take God out of our public school system. Then we see the slide into sexual perversions…one step at a time.  I could go on and through 911 and Katrina and any number of instances that we do not have time for today…

But, bottom line, I am in absolute agreement with you, Christine, that Donald Trump’s presidency was Ordained of God as a last warning of repentance for the United States.

Let me ask you this, why do you think there are so many nasty, wicked attacks against this president? I want everyone to know, I am not trying to shut down anyone’s free speech.  When Obama was president, the right was after him almost every day as well….but nothing like what we have seen here. Why is that Christine?

How do you thing Donald Trump has affected Christianity in the United States?

In one of your essay’s, you referred to the Democrat Party as “The Party of Death.” That was pretty – let’s say – extreme….why did you choose those words to apply to the Democrat Party?

He has people from his own party trying to lobby against his policies, correct?”

How do you think our allies around the world are viewing Donald Trump?

How do you see the 2018 elections ending up?
