Episode 347 – Dripping in Grace – Kim Chadwell Interview pt 1

“Dripping In Grace –  The True Story Of Past Horror,

Present Healing, And Permanent Grace”

Book Interview – Kim Chadwell

Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to welcome you to another episode of the Kingdom Crossroads Podcast. We are so blessed every time you join us. We strive to bring the Word of God’s Grace and of the Gift of Salvation that is available to anyone at anytime, in and by Christ Jesus. Praise the Lord.

Today’s guest has lived a life…well, of hell.  Her story goes WAY BACK to her upbringing in poverty…as the sixth child in an, today we would call, dysfunctional family setting.  Kim Chadwell’s book is a true story of pain, neglect, abuse and hardship. And then finding the path to freedom…amen.

One day, she and her siblings were removed from her mother’s care by, what we call today, Child Protective Services. It was a horrifying incident and one that still scars our guest. After years of abuse in foster homes and adoptive parents…Kim Chadwell has broken free. Free from the abuse. Free from the stigma. Free through Christ Jesus.  Here book, “Dripping in Grace” is a must read. It held me in utter awe and amazement at what she went through and was able to come out the other side standing in Christ.

Help me welcome to the program, Kim Chadwell.

Kim, thank you for taking the time to join us today.

OK, first question is one that I ask everyone…tell us, “Who is Kim Chadwell?”

Now, give us a brief background on what you remember about your home life and upbringing for the first 10 years of your life…then we will take up what happened after that…

And at age 10, tell us about when you were taken from your mother…

That had to be so traumatic…especially back then when not as much was known about PTSD and things like that today.  How did you cope?  What was your “escape” mechanism?

Kim, why did you write, “Dripping in Grace?”

I see this book as, not only a release valve of sorts for you…but also as a type of “guide book” for others. Things to look for; things that, when observed, could be a type of “warning sign” that something may be happening behind the scene or “under the surface.” Things that should spark questions to be asked…is that how you intended the book to be used?

During your journey – when did you feel the most empty? The most alone?

Tell us about the time you tried to commit suicide…

How did you cope with that?

When did you feel God was with or you heard the “voice of God” letting you know He was with you?

Do you still have “flashbacks” to those times?

Tell us about Mrs. Marshall and how she impacted your life…

Was there ever a time that the curtain was pulled back…and you realized or made the decision that “I am going to survive this…no matter what?”

Tell us the “Four Pillars of Forgiveness” that you seen…

Is this book available in book stores or on Amazon?

If someone wanted to reach out to you, to ask a question or perhaps to do an interview such as this, how can they get in touch with you?

Kim, I feel we could go on and talk for hours. Your story is a riveting story of so many things. Emotions, memories, things that, after hearing you describe what you went through, in some ways brings up things in my life that I had long forgotten about as well. As I was reading your book, I could not put it down…

Folks, we are all out of time. But I want to encourage you to pick up Kim Chadwell’s book “Dripping in Grace.” You will not want to stop reading it once you start. It IS that good! I will include links in the show notes below.

That’s all the time we have for today…for Kim Chadwell and myself, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau reminding you to BE BLESSED IN ALL THAT YOU DO!
