Episode 359 – Dr. Michael Brown Interview

Michael L. Brown is the founder and president of FIRE School of Ministry in Concord, North Carolina, Director of the Coalition of Conscience, and host of the daily, nationally, syndicated talk radio show, the Line of Fire, which is also heard on our Internet Radio Station, “Evangelism Radio” – he is also the host of the apologetics TV show, “Answering Your Toughest Questions,” which airs on the NRB TV network. He became a believer in Jesus 1971 as a sixteen year-old, Listen to this mom’s and dad’s who are worried about your children…he was a 16 year old, heroin-shooting, LSD-using Jewish rock drummer. Look at what the Lord has done…glory to God…Since then, he has preached throughout America and around the world, bringing a message of repentance, revival, reformation, and cultural revolution.

He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures from New York University and has served as a visiting or adjunct professor at Southern Evangelical Seminary, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, Denver Theological Seminary, the King’s Seminary, and Regent University School of Divinity, and he has contributed numerous articles to scholarly publications, including the Oxford Dictionary of Jewish Religion and the Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament.

Dr. Brown is the author of 27 books; he is a national and international speaker on themes of spiritual renewal and cultural reformation, and he has debated Jewish rabbis, agnostic professors, and gay activists on radio, TV, and college campuses – though that is probably getting to be harder and harder with events of late…

AND – Dr. Brown considered to be the world’s foremost Messianic Jewish apologist.

His Ministry Philosophy is “Rest and Run”

How is the situations on college campuses affecting your ministry?

What we are seeing on the campuses is going to end up with a “push-back” in society.

Those who came out of the closet will not be satisfied until Christians and Conservatives “in the closet.”

The day can easily come that if Christians graduate from certain colleges, your degree may not even be recognized.

Students in college are being “indoctrinated” instead of “educated.”

Has the Trump Administration been able to repair some of the damage caused under the Obama Administration?

He has spoken out openly about radical Islam.

But he still has to tread carefully because of our relationship with Egypt.

China is cracking down on Evangelical Christians. How is this going to affect ministries who are assisting and working with Chinese Christian Ministries?

China has more people being born again on a daily basis than most Western Churces see in a year.  Second, right behind China, is Iran!

Almost 1/3 of the listeners of Evangelism Radio come from the 10-40 Window.

We do not even hear about most of the killings happening in Muslim countries. Most of it is Muslim on Muslim killings.  Although the Christians are being persecuted, it is the Christian witness that is making a difference as Muslims see what is happening and see the Love of Christians…they make the decision to seek the one who Loves them and guarantees their Eternal Life and Salvation.

How and when did you get started into your radio ministry?

What has been the most significant change you have seen in the Church since you began your radio program?

We need to have Revival begin in the Church.  The key to America is go focus on the light and not the darkness. That is what will make the difference.

Do you keep track of the Internet Stations that are carrying your station?  We reached out over six years ago and received permission from your ministry. You have been on 6 days per week, twice each day since then.
