First question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, Can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Gary Harpst?”
I mentioned in the opening, that you help people not to just beat the chaos in our lives and business, but how to use it to our advantage. You actually have written a book about this. “Built to Beat Chaos: Biblical Wisdom for Leading Yourself and Others.” In your book, you have a section, “How Do I Get Control of Chaos?” How does that work?
In this book, you also share the “Biblical Secret for Unlocking the Potential of My People.” Can you discuss this a little bit with us? What is the Biblical secret?
I know some people are hesitant about mixing Faith and the workplace. You have a complete webinar on this topic. The bottom line is that we should be using the workplace as one way to build up the Kingdom on this earth, correct? Basically the “whole business and whole person” process. You describe that as a “Kingdom Impact Business.” Can you explain that for us?
I love that you share we are “body, soul and spirit.” Which we are… but you encourage entrepreneurs to understand that people spend 2/3 of their life OUTSIDE of the work place. I know I’ve worked for some organizations that gave you a Blackberry (I’m dating myself now…). I hated that thing! It would go off at all kinds of times to ask questions or “if I could do such and such.” Today, we have cell phones – it seems like we are supposed to be available 24/7. What do you share about that with business owners and managers?
