Now here is your host with today's interview, Pastor Bob Thibodeau.

Speaker B:

Hello everyone, everywhere.

Speaker B:

Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.

Speaker B:

Welcome to the Kingdom Crossroads podcast today.

Speaker B:

We're so blessed.

Speaker B:

You're joining us from part two and the conclusion of a great interview with Dr.

Speaker B:

Bob Thiel, one of the world's foremost authorities on prophecy and a highly regarded researcher and he's also the author of Unintended Consequences of Donald Trump's Presidency.

Speaker B:

Is Donald Trump fulfilling Biblical, Islamic, Greco Roman Catholic, Buddhist and other America related prophecies?

Speaker B:

Has a great book, long name in the interview I just referred to as Unintended Consequences or Unintended Consequences and a Donald Trump presidency.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Now this is part two in the conclusion, so that means you missed part one if you didn't hear it yet.

Speaker B:

So go back and listen to that so you understand where we're coming from as we now enter into part two as I ask him about the unraveling of the world order that's been in place really since World War II.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

So let's jump back into the interview Right now with Dr.

Speaker B:

Bob Thiel.

Speaker B:

So you actually see we're like witnessing right now the unraveling of the post World War II world order.

Speaker B:

Right?

Speaker C:

Yeah, we are, we are seeing a, a shift, a shift that we hadn't, we've never seen before.

Speaker C:

And Poland says, for example, they're going to double the size of their army.

Speaker C:

Now In Revelation, chapter 11, verse 25, it says that Europe is going to have a great army.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And revel in Daniel, chapter 11, verse 40.

Speaker C:

It says it's going to have chariots and many ships, which to me means weaponry.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And right now they're, they're working on that.

Speaker C:

r a long time when I wrote my:

Speaker C:

All right?

Speaker C:

And so that's kind of what, what I thought so I thought, well, you know, Europe is going to work on technology.

Speaker C:

They've got the Large Hadron Collider, they've got some other things.

Speaker C:

But it was beyond that.

Speaker C:

It was like, well, how could they.

Speaker C:

They do this?

Speaker C:

Well, In Daniel, chapter 11, I think it's verses 24 to 25, it says, this person is going to enter peaceably and do something that his ancestors, his fathers, never did.

Speaker C:

He's going to enter the strongholds.

Speaker C:

Now, you mentioned World War II.

Speaker C:

Well, United States was involved in World War I and World War II.

Speaker C:

Germany never really attacked the United States.

Speaker C:

I, I realize there's some minor things.

Speaker C:

I've heard stories about some U boats coming off the coast and maybe some Germans came on, but there was no major invasion.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Of the United States back then, either the Times or Canada for that matter.

Speaker C:

I think again, there were some times, maybe a couple of troops on over there, but not.

Speaker C:

Nothing serious.

Speaker C:

But I read about this in Daniel 11 that is going to do that.

Speaker C:

did a radio interview back in:

Speaker C:

een the first one I did on my:

Speaker C:

And the host was a former Baptist who is now a Muslim.

Speaker C:

And he says to me, you're talking about the United States and prophecy.

Speaker C:

Where, where in the Bible does it, does it say that?

Speaker C:

And I said, well, the first scripture that comes to mind is Daniel 11, verse 39.

Speaker C:

And I said, let me, if you don't mind, let me tell you what it says.

Speaker C:

He says, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker C:

Now, I'm going to paraphrase from the new King James says.

Speaker C:

Then he and this is talking about the European king of the north will go against the strongest fortresses with a foreign God, conquer and divide the land for many.

Speaker C:

I said, well, who has the strongest military right now?

Speaker C:

Well, the United States of America.

Speaker C:

And that also ties into this, a few verses up about this guy going into the strongholds and entering peaceably.

Speaker C:

So I've wondered.

Speaker C:

This is speculation.

Speaker C:

I've speculated that perhaps things will get real tense between the United States and Europe at some point in time.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

That's not hard to imagine your book, Unintended Consequences.

Speaker B:

You know, you explore how the Trump presidency aligns with, you know, biblical, Islamic, even Buddhist prophecies.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker B:

And, you know, a scripture just popped up.

Speaker B:

I can't remember the scripture reference, but it talks about the Last Trump.

Speaker B:

And before a lot of people say, well, what do you mean, last Trump?

Speaker B:

Well, nobody.

Speaker B:

Well, it's only happened once before in US History where a president was president took a four year break and came back again.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

And this is definitely the last Trump presidency.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

So could that scripture reference be talking about this Trump?

Speaker C:

I don't think so, because at the last Trump, Jesus returns.

Speaker C:

I do not believe it is possible based on certain events that Jesus said needed to happen for Jesus to return in the Donald Trump presidency.

Speaker C:

But yeah, I've read various ones who've tried to tie that in there.

Speaker C:

But anyway, getting back to some of these prophecies, since the United States is in NATO and almost all NATO exercises are done in Europe, I've wondered if maybe there'll be a time of tension between the Europeans and the Americans.

Speaker C:

Maybe the Europeans will say to the Americans, hey look, let's show that we're really on your side.

Speaker C:

Why don't we come over to the United States and we'll do a NATO exercise, then we'll send our bombers over there to help you.

Speaker C:

Okay, so that is a way I can envision this happening.

Speaker C:

goes back to when I wrote the:

Speaker C:

So Europe is in a unique position.

Speaker C:

Oh, and I mentioned the Obama presidency.

Speaker C:

Because of the Snowden leaks, Obama promised to be open and share all of our secrets with the Europeans.

Speaker C:

Now, obviously we probably don't do that, but we promised it anyway.

Speaker C:

So imagine an adversary that you sharing a lot of secrets with who also has access to your GPS communication.

Speaker C:

So again, this is speculation, but it's a way I can see how the strongest fortresses could be defeated by a European power.

Speaker C:

And right now, again, they're working on a military.

Speaker C:

They say they're going to spend the money.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Well, historically, powerful civilizations have fallen due to economic collapse, moral decline, military overreach.

Speaker B:

Given where America's at today, are we following that same pattern?

Speaker B:

And if so, what's your estimation of how much time we really have left?

Speaker C:

You've certainly found that pattern.

Speaker C:

You look at things for the last days, you look about things they don't even know what marriage is anymore, et cetera.

Speaker C:

Things that were pretty much unimaginable when you and I were growing up.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

So, yes, as far as the time frame.

Speaker C:

Now this is interesting.

Speaker C:

Now I'm going to go to a tradition.

Speaker C:

There's a tradition from the school of Elijah, Elijah the prophet.

Speaker C:

This is a Jewish tradition.

Speaker C:

It's in the Babylonian Talmud that says that God gave humanity 6,000 years and then the Messiah comes.

Speaker C:

Now they have, the Jews have other prophecies by the way.

Speaker C:

The Messiah was supposed to come after 4,000 years, which he did by the way.

Speaker B:

All right, amen.

Speaker C:

But they've got these ones that after 6,000 years.

Speaker C:

Christ also believed in this:

Speaker C:

Now the Bible does talk about a thousand years being as a day to God and the days a thousand years both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

Speaker C:

So many believed in, particularly in early Christianity that This meant that 6,000 years after, probably after Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden, God will restore his government on the earth.

Speaker C:

Now we don't know when that was by the way.

Speaker C:

A lot of people think oh they must have sinned within a day or a week or a month.

Speaker C:

Bible doesn't say, okay, we don't know that.

Speaker C:

But we do know is God told Adam in the day that you sin, you're going to die.

Speaker C:

People say wait a second, he didn't die within a day.

Speaker C:

He was 900 some years old when he dies.

Speaker C:

Because to God a day is a thousand years, a thousand years is a day.

Speaker C:

So Adam died within that thousand years.

Speaker C:

But we don't know when that started.

Speaker C:

years ended in I think:

Speaker C:

nd say it could be as late as:

Speaker C:

nk it could be any later than:

Speaker C:

So to give you a kind of an idea of the time frame now prophetically one of the things I'm looking for is there's a prophecy in Isaiah chapter 22 about an Iranian Syrian confederation that causes great damage to Jerusalem.

Speaker C:

The city of David says, and I just saw an article today, I guess it came out last night about Iran's ready to hit back because it looks like U.

Speaker C:

S and Israel might hit Iran.

Speaker C:

And if, if that happens, then we may see some kind of a peace deal consistent with what we see in Daniel 9:27.

Speaker C:

And then I would say the countdown begins.

Speaker C:

But I don't know yet, I haven't seen it.

Speaker C:

I've seen a lot of people have predicted various dates.

Speaker C:

Jesus didn't say blessed is he who's the best mathematician.

Speaker C:

He listed a variety of signs.

Speaker C:

We haven't seen them all yet until we see those.

Speaker C:

g to return somewhere between:

Speaker C:

And we would need to see the tribulation before then.

Speaker C:

I believe, you know, Jesus in Matthew 24 said, after the tribulation, there were various things would happen and then we'd see Jesus return.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

You know, you mentioned the Iranian Syrian alliance.

Speaker B:

And recently Syria, you know, fell to the Muslims and the Russian alliance, you know, Assad had to leave.

Speaker B:

And, you know, so Iran now has that influence in Syria.

Speaker B:

And so that alliance is growing stronger, I guess we could say.

Speaker B:

So that matches up with what you said.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

So we need to watch.

Speaker C:

You know, Jesus said in Mark:

Speaker C:

And he listed world events.

Speaker C:

You know, sometimes people think prophecies not relevant for Christians.

Speaker C:

Well, it says.

Speaker C:

I think it's Revelation 19.

Speaker C:

It might be verse 10.

Speaker C:

An angel said that this spirit of Jesus was the spirit of prophecy.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

And, you know, I wrote another book.

Speaker C:

This is an ebook, proof Jesus is Messiah.

Speaker C:

It goes through a couple hundred prophecies pointing to from the Old Testament, Hebrew scriptures, explaining why Jesus would be the Messiah.

Speaker C:

I even go through Jewish Talmud writings, their traditions, explaining why if the Jews believe their traditions, they'd accept Jesus as the Messiah and also have prophecies that Jesus made that have been fulfilled after the New Testament was written.

Speaker C:

Help Joe to demonstrate Jesus is the Messiah.

Speaker C:

So, so yeah, prophecies are, are important.

Speaker C:

Look, salvation is a prophecy.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker B:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

You know, going back, so there's a lot of prophecy in the Bible.

Speaker C:

A lot of people don't quite realize that, but yes.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And you've warned that, you know, America is headed towards this major unintended consequences.

Speaker B:

You know, some, some that even, you know, we'll just say Trump's biggest supporters don't see coming.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

What's the most urgent dangers that you believe we should be watching out for right now?

Speaker C:

Well, the most urgent thing was there's two.

Speaker C:

Well, it's actually three or four, but one.

Speaker C:

One.

Speaker C:

One is the fact that Europe is starting to arm.

Speaker C:

Okay, that, that.

Speaker C:

I mean, they've been having lots of emergency meetings the last several weeks.

Speaker C:

They're, they're serious about that right now.

Speaker C:

You know, watching the situation in Israel, in the Middle East, I think that's something important.

Speaker C:

In the book of Habakkuk, by the way, Habakkuk, chapter two talks about woe to one who loads pledges unto himself.

Speaker C:

Will not your creditors Rise up.

Speaker C:

Suddenly, the US Debt continues to go up.

Speaker C:

I realize there's Doge and there's all those things, but they're not making a lot of things they've uncovered I think should not be funded.

Speaker C:

I don't disagree with them on other points, but to think that that's going to knock out our $36 trillion debt.

Speaker C:

So, you know, in Habakkuk chapter two, it says, watch this stuff.

Speaker C:

Even though it tarries, it's not going to tarry.

Speaker C:

So the US Is building up debt for the longest time.

Speaker C:

So that's kind of the other smoking time bomb that's going off at the same time.

Speaker C:

And another one, there's all this tariff stuff.

Speaker C:

Mystery Babylon the Great does trade with the world.

Speaker C:

Since Donald Trump's election, the Europeans decided to approve their macroso trade deal with South America, one of the biggest trade deals of all time.

Speaker C:

They say now they've been sitting on this deal forever, now they're accelerating it.

Speaker C:

They got to deal with Mexico.

Speaker C:

They've been sitting on forever, now they're accelerating it.

Speaker C:

Ursula von der Leyen went to India.

Speaker C:

A lot of people in India, by the way.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Most populous country now on the planet, they think has passed China.

Speaker C:

A couple a year or two back, they've been sitting on a trade deal with that.

Speaker C:

They're going to try to make that happen.

Speaker C:

You know, if there's a bully, he's mean to you, he's mean to me.

Speaker C:

Maybe you and I are going to get together.

Speaker C:

Yeah, all right.

Speaker B:

That's right.

Speaker C:

And Donald Trump, it isn't.

Speaker C:

Donald Trump is wrong about everything he says, but he does act like a bully.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And some people are going to cower.

Speaker C:

Look, we know Canada is going to have to fold on some of this stuff, no matter what their prime minister or the next prime minister says, because they're too dependent on U.S.

Speaker C:

economy.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

But that doesn't mean they won't look a little bit elsewhere.

Speaker C:

Doesn't mean Mexico won't look elsewhere.

Speaker C:

Mexico is looking elsewhere and Europeans are looking elsewhere.

Speaker C:

And so we are inadvertently setting up for Mystery Babylon to rise up.

Speaker C:

So there's multiple things going on.

Speaker C:

And again, many of these things have happened since my last book has come out, and the media doesn't cover this.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

It's amazing.

Speaker C:

You know, let me talk about the American media.

Speaker C:

There's two sides.

Speaker C:

Either every.

Speaker C:

Almost everything Trump says is wrong or almost everything Trump says is right.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Now, at risk of offending everybody, Donald Trump is a liar and he exaggerates and on the left, they are liars and they exaggerate.

Speaker C:

It seems on the left, not.

Speaker C:

Almost nothing Donald Trump does is good.

Speaker C:

And they are always looking at the worst possible outcome.

Speaker C:

They think from what he says.

Speaker C:

And on the right, they overlook the fact that he lies and exaggerates and have overlooked biblical prophecies.

Speaker C:

Okay, these, these prophecies are coming to pass, but people are discounting them, looking at basically short term things.

Speaker C:

Oh, yeah, put tariffs on that.

Speaker C:

Will tariffs help the United States build manufacturing?

Speaker C:

To some degree?

Speaker C:

Yes.

Speaker C:

Will it cause massive inflation?

Speaker C:

Maybe, maybe not.

Speaker C:

Okay, if you watch the left.

Speaker C:

Oh, this is going to destroy everything.

Speaker C:

Last time Trump did it because things happen, but we'll have it.

Speaker C:

We'll probably have some pain.

Speaker C:

So it's a lack of balance, a lack of truth on the media and the fact that they don't rely on biblical prophecies.

Speaker C:

And those of us look at the Bible, Donald Trump is there, but we look at the Bible by virtue of his timing, things that he's said, biblical prophecies and what people in the world think.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Because prophecy isn't just about predictions.

Speaker B:

It's about preparation, you know, and if your research is correct and we're heading towards this massive shift, well, I guess what should everyday people be doing right now to prepare for what's coming?

Speaker C:

Well, Jesus said in Luke:

Speaker C:

Okay, now that doesn't just mean, and forgive me if this sounds a little sacrilegious, to use a Catholic term.

Speaker C:

Jesus, protect me from this.

Speaker C:

Jesus, protect me from this.

Speaker C:

Jesus, protect me from this.

Speaker C:

No, that's not what Jesus is telling you to pray.

Speaker B:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

When he says to pray to be kind, worthy, it should get through your skull that you need to be serious about being a Christian.

Speaker C:

In the book of Revelation, there are seven churches that are listed from Ephesus up to Laodicea.

Speaker C:

Now, while the attitude of all seven of those churches have existed throughout the church age, some people have felt, including Roman Catholics, including Protestants, and including those in the Church of God, that these also kind of talk about a time frame.

Speaker C:

We believe that the last period of time is predominantly Laodicean and that these are Christians who think everything is just fine the way they are.

Speaker C:

Jesus says, no, you're miserable, poor, blinded, naked.

Speaker C:

If you don't change, I'm going to vomit you out of my mouth.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

I tell you to get gold refined in the fire.

Speaker C:

So while we do believe there are some Philadelphians and some of the other era, church era still around.

Speaker C:

The predominant attitude in the end time is Laodicean.

Speaker B:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And that we believe Jesus is pretty clear.

Speaker C:

You're not supposed to be lukewarm about your faith.

Speaker C:

Now, we believe that people should contend earnestly for the faith once for all, delivered to the saints.

Speaker C:

We believe you can find that faith in the Bible.

Speaker C:

We also believe, however, that if you go into early Christianity, particularly 2nd century Christianity, that you can learn an awful lot about what the original Christians believed.

Speaker C:

And so that's something in our church that we emphasize.

Speaker C:

Now, one of the reasons we emphasize that, by the way, you've probably had somebody tell you that some verse means something in Greek, okay, From New Testament.

Speaker C:

New Testament was written in Koine Greek.

Speaker C:

And some will tell you based on either a 21st century scholar, a 20th century scholar, or a 19th century scholar.

Speaker C:

And maybe they're right and maybe they're wrong.

Speaker C:

I kind of.

Speaker C:

And now I want to make this clear.

Speaker C:

I am not a Greek scholar, but I am a scholar who has studied Greek.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

So it doesn't make me an expert.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

But so how do I get around my lack of expertise?

Speaker C:

I go back in time.

Speaker C:

Now, I don't have a time machine, okay, like one of those scientific movies, kind of go back in time.

Speaker C:

But we do have our writings in mostly Greek in the second century, many of which have been translated into English.

Speaker C:

Why is that important?

Speaker C:

Because you have the apostles.

Speaker C:

We believe the last one, the apostle John, probably died around the year 100, the end of the first century.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

But they appointed people, okay?

Speaker C:

For example, there's a guy by the name of Polycarpus Smyrna.

Speaker C:

He was believed by Roman Catholics, Protestants, Eastern Orthodox Church of God scholars been appointed by the apostles.

Speaker C:

Some say it was by the apostle John, some say it was a bunch of apostles.

Speaker C:

But whichever, you've got people like Polycarp and others who either knew the apostles or knew people who knew the apostles.

Speaker C:

Plus Koine, Greek was their native language.

Speaker C:

So when you look at what was written in the second century, you get a pretty good idea of what early Christians believed.

Speaker C:

SDAs would be pleased to find out that as far as I've been able to determine, Polycarp and others in his area kept the seventh day Sabbath.

Speaker C:

Okay?

Speaker C:

And as far as the biblical thing on meats, and this is kind of interesting, you talk to some Protestants, they believe that the book of Acts said you could eat unclean meat.

Speaker C:

But if you read what the Roman Catholics teach, by the way, and this may be of news to all your listeners.

Speaker C:

No, they didn't.

Speaker C:

They thought Christians were not to eat unclean meat.

Speaker C:

But this got changed by Bishop of Rome by the name of Eleutherus around the year 185-ish-ad that he changed it, which means the original Christians, according to the Roman Catholics, didn't eat pork and things like that.

Speaker C:

Now we in the continuing Church of God could continue that to this day.

Speaker C:

We don't eat that.

Speaker C:

We keep Sabbath and we do some other things as well.

Speaker C:

And we believe we can look at early Christian writings to support the fact that we're.

Speaker C:

We contend for the early faith and it says the Book of Jude, verse 3.

Speaker C:

To contend earnestly, not lukewarmly earnestly, for the faith, once for all, delivered to the saints, which we believe 1st and 2nd century Christians were doing, at least many of them.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Well, Dr.

Speaker B:

B, this been so interesting.

Speaker B:

How can someone obtain a copy of your book Unintended Consequences and the Donald Trump presidency?

Speaker C:

Take it as Amazon for that particular one.

Speaker C:

Go to Amazon and what you would do with that is actually type in my last name and Unintended Consequences and that'll come up.

Speaker C:

So my last name, I wish my ancestors would have spelled it differently, is T H I E L.

Speaker C:

That's T as in Thomas H I E L.

Speaker C:

Type in Unintended Consequences and that'll come up.

Speaker C:

Available in book form and it's also available from Kindle.

Speaker B:

Speaker B:

So it's I before E.

Speaker B:

Yes.

Speaker C:

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

The childhood grammar school thing.

Speaker B:

I before E except after C and all that stuff.

Speaker B:

I before E field.

Speaker C:

Speaker B:

I humbly ask that you would consider sending along any offering of support for this work of God. If every person would commit to just $1 per month - you would be amazed at how fast that will multiply and allow us to have even more impact! And...there are NO SALARIES taken from any offerings sent in. It all goes to Kingdom work! Amen! Click the link for "support" that you see - and God Bless You for your support!

About your host

Profile picture for Robert Thibodeau

Robert Thibodeau

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
