Today on the program, I want to introduce you to a woman who has the heart of God – FOR God’s People…and she has done it all…amen. DOCTOR DEE STOKES is a retired professor AND basketball coach on the college level…I’ll let her tell you a bit about that….I think that is just awesome! But after 18 years of basketball she decided to get into the BIG GAME of winning souls and guiding people to the cross…amen!

WELCOME – Dr. Dee Stokes to the program.

– WHO is Dr. Dee Stokes!

Dr. Dee shares some of the problems she faced in making the decision of leaving her teaching and coaching career to go into full time ministry.

Dr. Dee shares some of the obstacles she had to overcome.

Dr. Dee shares with us her heart for missions and gives some insights about a missions trip she recently completed in Peru and Columbia.

Dr. Dee explains how she uses seminar, mission work, workshops, etc. – not only to provide services to pastors – but in an effort to impact players she has a chance to interact with.

Do consider your work as one that makes disciples? How does discipleship training work through your ministry?

One of the areas you are very familiar with, unfortunately, is grief…you have a section on your website called, “Grieving the Death of a Dream.” Tell us about that…

Dr. Dee has written several books, “Experiencing Grace: One Woman’s Year Long Journey with God After the Death of Her Mother” and “Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inside Basketball Edition” and “21st Century Leadership” – and some others….and she explains what 21st Century Leadership means and what she sees we need to do as we go into the 21st Century.
