Hello Everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to thank you for joining us today on the Kingdom Crossroads Podcast.  We are going to have a great time today…I can tell already. Just with my pre-show talk with today’s guest…folks, you are going to enjoy todays show.

Let me start with a question, for you, our listeners. I want you to ponder this question…What if ONE, just ONE, small, single act of gratitude, so impacted someone, that it changed the course of history. If you – YOU – knew that one small act would effect generations…would you go through with it? Even if it cost you dearly to do so?

Today’s guest is Dr. Beau Adams of the Community Bible Church in Stockridge, Georgia. Dr. Beau is also the author of a few books, one of which we are going to discuss today. That book is called, “Stones of Gratitude.”

Now, let me tell you a little bit about Dr. Beau Adams. When he was in high school, he had to get up in front of an audience of his peers and give a speech. He froze. He mumbled and he stuttered and finally made it through. Embarrassed…he was walking down the hallway…and I’ll let him finish the story from there…but, let me say this – he doesn’t stutter or mumble now. Glory to God…help me welcome to the program, Dr. Beau Adams.

Dr. Beau, thank you for joining us today?

I want you to finish that story…but I want you to do so while answering this first question. This is a question I start off every interview with…tell us, “Who is Dr. Beau Adams?”

Now, tell us how you got involved in ministry.

And this book, “Stones of Gratitude.” Tell us how this book came about.

Chemistry was actually developed or “evolved” from alchemy.  Tell us how that happened and how that ties into your book.

Your “hook” is how one act of gratitude changed the entire course of a nation. Explain.

It is not always “convenient” to choose gratitude, especially when you are going through trying times. But yet, you say we need to focus on the small positive things…how so?

Can gratitude impact your relationships?  How?

Your book is laid out with each chapter as a series of “stepping stones” taking your reader down a path of gratitude. Does each chapter build upon the previous or can they be taken out of order?

LIGHTNING ROUND:

If Jesus paid the price for all sins of all time, why can’t we ask for forgiveness now and then live like we want to…after all, He paid for those sins too?

Did God make some people homosexuals?

Can a homosexual person be saved?

Why are their poor people who believe in God and rich people who do not believe in God?

LAST QUESTION

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.).
