Lead By Grace – Kelly Dauer Interview

Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau, welcome to the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. We are so blessed that you can join us today. We are blessed every time you join us.

Today, we have the founder of “Lead by Grace Ministries” with us to explain how she has overcome setbacks and relied on God’s Grace to help her remain strong for her family. In doing so, He has led her to start the “Lead by Grace Bible Study Series’ which provides a framework for Christian women to strengthen their walk with Christ as they step into God’s epic plan and purpose for their own life.

“Lead By Grace” was born out of the Lord’s pushing for Kelly to share her story of transformation and to help support others on their journey of faith. Kelly leads a very busy life in Southern California where she has the honor of being a single mom to three wonderful children. She also has a full-time career outside of her home and – not one – but TWO  entrepreneurial adventures which we will get into as well.  She is passionate about serving and investing in others while pursuing the epic plan she knows God has for her life as well.

Help me welcome to the program, Kelly Dauer. Kelly – you stay busy!  I want to thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to visit with us today!

Ok. Kelly, I always start with this question right out of the gate. Tell us, in your own words, “Who is Kelly Dauer?”

Explain to us how you were led to start “Lead by Grace Ministries.”

You talk about your “Beauty for Ashes.” Explain to us what you mean by that phrase.

You talk about God’s Faithfulness is not just answering, as you put it in one of your blog posts, God is not just there as our proverbial ATM machine…just to answer our prayers whenever we get into trouble. You share that He is the calm to our storms and that He has an “epic plan for our lives.” Explain what it is you mean by all of that…

Can you explain what the “Esther, Ruth and the dimmer principle” is?

Let’s go back to “God’s Plan for our life.”  Each and every person.  You state, and I agree with, it is not a big plan or a small plan – but a God size plan that is the perfect fit for our individual life and His calling for our life. I guess the question I have for you, is “How can we know what that plan is?”

You are part of a Prayer Room where you pray for others, correct? Tell us about that.

Tell us about your “Lead by Grace Bible Study Series.”

Is this a virtual Bible Study; in home Bible study?  How do you conduct it?

Is there a book that is published? E-book link on website.

Your blog, “Leadbygrace.com” – how long have you been publishing the blog?

You also volunteer and donate to your community, correct?  Tell us some of the volunteer opportunities that you have open where somebody could help out?

I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
