Team CNE – Chris Jordan Interview

Hello everyone everywhere, this is Pastor Robert Thibodeau and I want to thank you for joining us today on the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast. We are so blessed each and every time we can get together with you as we talk with influential Christian leaders today.

I have a special treat for you today. I met Chris Jordan back in August of 2018. We were both speaking at a Veteran’s Conference near Washington, DC and we just “hit it off” almost immediately.  Come to find out, we only live about 30 minutes from each other and we have met several times since then and have a grown to be good friends.  I asked Chris to come on the podcast today to share with you, not just about his faith, but also about his business, Team CNE.

Chris Jordan is an Executive Leadership & Life coach, a John Maxwell certified speaker, president of the local Toastmasters club, serves on the boards of other Toastmasters groups in the area. He and his wife, Emily, help to train, equip and motivate people to rekindle their dreams and goals and to strengthen their faith in their own abilities to lead themselves and others. They accomplish this through one-on-one coaching; group coaching and training; speaking to groups or at conferences and any other way that someone may need their help.

Help me welcome to the program, my good friend, Chris Jordan!  Chris, thank you for taking the time to visit with us today!

Ok, I always ask this question first. So, tell us in your own words, other than that short bio I just read, “Who is Chris Jordan?”

420 Fire Ministry? What are you doing with that? (1 Corinthians [4:20])

Why did you decide to become John Maxwell certified?

When you are contacted by someone, for coaching or even to do a presentation, what are the process you have in place that allows you to provide EXACTLY what the client needs? Every person and every group is different, right?

How and why did you create Team CNE? I know what it stands for, but I’ll let you tell our listeners…

How and why did you become associated with Toastmasters?

I love the way you became the President of your local Toastmasters. Tell our listeners how you assumed command, so to speak…

Would you recommend Toastmasters as a training method for people wanting to learn to be better presenters?

Some people say the rigidity of Toastmasters does not translate well to normal public presentations. What is your response to that?

How does the John Maxwell “Leadership Game” allow you to impact organizations?

Tell us about “Inspired to Lead.”

How does that differ from Team CNE?

Where can people buy the book, “Inspired to Lead?” (through his website).

You have begun speaking in churches as well, correct?

I understand, from all that you have shared with us, how you impact businesses and individuals. How can you help churches with what you do?

If someone wanted to get in touch with you, ask a question, or have you come out and speak to their group or organization, how can they do that?  How can someone get in touch with you?

Folks, I want you to understand something. Chris Jordan is as “real as they get.” He will not beat around the bush telling you things he thinks you want to hear. He will tell what you truly NEED to hear. Amen.  Get in touch with Chris and his wife Emily today. I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
