Gratitude Prompts – Karen Purvis pt 2
Gratitude Prompts – Karen Purves
How do you react when things go wrong in your life? Not just small things, but big things, HUGE THINGS? How you react an affect your physical health, your mental health and even your spiritual health.
When things go wrong, “Gratitude” is usually not the first choice we make as a reaction. But yet, my guest today specializes in helping us to see that “Gratitude” should be THE first choice we make in all situations. Good and bad.
Karen Purves was on the program, in January 2019, to talk about her book, “Gratitude Prompts.” You can go back to our archives and find episodes 430 and 431 to listen to her last interview.
She has had some, let’s say, interesting adventures in the last year and is back today to catch us up and also answer some more questions about how we can use “Gratitude” to help grow us spiritually.
She supports her clients in developing both gratitude and appreciation in their life. Because both of these qualities and emotions are the cornerstone for bringing into reality everything we desire.
Karen shares that “Gratitude is a lifestyle choice - rather than something you do in 2 minutes at the end of the day.”
You talk about how a person can get double dose of gratitude by actually doing something for someone else. How does that work?
And you encourage people to keep a journal of all things, right?
Segway into your book, “Gratitude Prompts!” How was that? Amen!
Tell us about “why” you wrote this book to begin with.
What kind of feedback have you received from the book?
Has this helped you in your Gratitude Journey as well?
How does someone use your book? Do they go by a calendar? Or front to back? How do they use your book to record their Gratitude Prompts?
There are other journals out there, what makes your book different?
There are 65 Gratitude topics in your book. Can you give us some examples?
You started a podcast, correct?
How can someone get a copy of your book?
Karen, it has been great catching up with again. If someone wanted to get more information on you, your book, your coaching, etc, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you?
Folks, you have seen all the so called “experts” teaching about gratitude. Doing 30 days of this or posting 30 days of that. But Karen Purves LIVES gratitude. She has written an excellent book on the subject that will guide you through the process and prompt you to think about the “little things” that you should be grateful for. Hence the name, “Gratitude Prompts.” Amen!
You need to get this book. In fact, you need to get two copies. One for you and one to pass along to a friend. Remember, random acts of kindness, according to Karen, will benefit you TWICE OVER! Praise the Lord! “Whatsoever you sow, you shall reap.” If you want to reap gratitude, give someone a book on gratitude and plant that seed that will produce a harvest of gratitude back into your life! Amen!
Karen, thank you again for coming back on the program today.
Folks, go down below and click the links, right now, while you are thinking about it. Don’t let the devil try to tell you to do it later. Don’t listen to him, listen to me…do it now! Praise God!
For Karen Purves and myself, this is Pastor Bob reminding you to BE BLESSED IN ALL THAT YOU DO!
