How many times have you wondered, “If I could change this, what would happen?”  If you are tired of the drudgery of working for somebody else, somebody else’s profit, somebody else’s advances and just earning your hourly wage, what would it be like if YOU could be your own boss? For many people, that is just a pipe dream. For others, it’s something they truly desire to do but are afraid – that’s right – scared, about “What if it doesn’t work?”  For others, they consider it a challenge that needs to be met, conquered and overcome. What’s on the other side? What is it going to be like if  you succeed? What is it going to be like if you, not only succeed, but start walk in the true path that God has called you to do and to serve Him with? Well, my guest today had to face those same exact questions. And he is going to explain the reasoning (or lack of reasoning, some may say) that caused him to go “all in with his wife and with God.” Amen! Steven Pemberton (not the actor), was considered a little crazy for taking that challenge. He and his wife, Brittany, have achieved what many consider impossible. But, as you should be aware, “With God – ALL Things are possible – to him who believes!” Amen! Steven left a corporate career behind and joined his wife in launching not one, but TWO successful businesses that each have generated over seven figures of income. Let’s find out… as we begin a great three part interview - with Steven Pemberton! First question I always ask is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Steven Pemberton?” Is it true that your wife was your, basically, your boss at your first job? Then, your relationship grew and you decided to propose…? Fast forward a bit. You’re working for the post office…and then you decide to quit your steady job in order to pursue your first entrepreneur opportunity. Care to share about that time and what the financial results were? How did your faith keep you going at that time? You took a new job that went from almost no hours per week to over 60 hours per week? And then you moved to the Fort Worth, Texas area. I lived in south Fort Worth, near Crowley.  You’re probably familiar with that area. I lived in apartments right on the very edge of southwest Fort Worth, I think it was just off of Alta Mesa Avenue.  You were working a lot of hours by that time, right? Folks, Steven and his wife, Brittany, succeeded, basically for two reasons. One, they heard from God and two, they refused to lose. They knew if God said it would come to pass, it would come to pass. It works the same way for you, too. God is not a respecter of person. What He did for one, He will do for another – IF you have Faith to believe. Amen!
