A Supernatural Business – Paul Moore
How many times have you wished you could just hang out with a successful business entrepreneur? Not just someone who was successful in business alone, but was also rooted and grounded in the Word. Someone who knows “who he is” as a member of the Body of Christ – and realizes that all the success he has achieved is because of the Blessings of God working in his life? My guest today has been on our program before – a long time ago! Almost 400 episodes ago! Paul Moore is the co-founder of Wellings Capital, a commercial multi-family investment firm…and he is the author of the book, “The Perfect Investment – Create Enduring Wealth from the Historic Shift”… and he is going to tell us – because I’m going to ask him about – how he went from over $2 million in the bank – to over $2.5 million and debt – and back to debt free again! Paul has an engineering degree and an MBA…after working for awhile with the Ford Motor Company, he launched out on his own, starting a number of different companies…TWICE he was a finalist for the Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year Award…Glory to God! His multi-faceted real estate experience includes the development and financing of a subdivision, a Hyatt hotel development, and two successful online real estate marketing sites – PLUS an extensive investment in the development and management of several DOZEN – hear me – DOZEN, residential and commercial projects.
Help me welcome back to the program, Paul Moore! Paul, thank you so much for coming back on the program! 400 episodes ago, just a little over two years, I think! I know a lot has gone on in your life since then. We have a lot of new listeners that probably did not hear your prior interview, so why don’t we start with this first question, in your own words, other than that short bio I just read, tell us, “Who is Paul Moore?”
Paul, I like to give our listeners your contact information here at the beginning. Sometimes, I have no reason why, but some of them are unable to listen all the way through and I want them to have your contact information now – and we will go over it again at the end of the program. Let’s just recap a bit from our prior interview…
You encourage people to DO MINISTRY outside the four walls of the church…and you are encouraging them to operate a “Super Natural Business” in doing so…what steps can a Christian Business owner do that will put them on the right path to financial FREEDOM – not just success – but FREEDOM?
Let me ask you about this… We often hear people, preachers, ministers, whatever, say, “Give till it hurts – then give some more – and THEN God will Bless you!” But you are talking about this in a different light, a different perspective. Can you explain to our listeners how you go about doing this and how it relates to what you just shared previously?
Let’s talk about how you went from $2 million in the bank to $2.5 million in debt – and back again. Is that what you were just referencing?
Now, you use some of the resources God has blessed you with in certain areas of society that does not get very much attention. Specifically, “Human Trafficking” and rescuing some of these victims. Tell us about this special calling God has given you in that area…
I have interviewed a few guests over the past couple of years, that actually lost friends or loved ones to this tragic area of crime. The person I’m thinking of right now lost a friend 20 years ago. She was 18 at the time, I believe. She had gone out for a bike ride and all they found was her bike on the side of the road. Seven or eight years later, they heard a rumor that she was in a harem of some Saudi oil guru or something…but they could never get any further information.
This is a travesty in this day and age – but nobody is talking about it! How are you helping to “Get the Word Out” and make a difference in this area?
How are you working in this area? Do you have any one in particular to give to?
Do you work with law enforcement in this area? Or other businesses or is it through a non-profit only? How do you get started in doing something to make an impact?
What else is new with what you and your company is doing now?
Paul, I have so enjoyed catching up with you. Let’s not wait another two years and 400-500 episodes to do this again.
