The Fire of God – TS Wright
The Fire of God
TS Wright
Pastor Bob Thibodeau engages in a profound dialogue with Scott Wright, centering on the intricate relationship between fire and water as they explore end time scenarios through the lens of Second Peter Chapter Three. The episode delves into the contrasting yet interconnected roles of these elements, particularly how fire is destined to play a pivotal role in the final judgment, as outlined in scripture. They reflect on the historical context of Noah's flood, emphasizing that while water was once used for destruction, fire symbolizes a more consuming force that will ultimately refine creation. The discussion underscores the urgency of repentance, illustrating that the impending fire serves as both a warning and a call to action for individuals to reassess their spiritual alignment with God. As they navigate these weighty themes, the conversation stresses the significance of acknowledging God's sovereignty and the necessity of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to escape impending judgment.

Speaker A:Now here is your host with today's interview, Pastor Bob Thibodeau.
Speaker B:Hello everyone everywhere.
Speaker B:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker B:Welcome to the Kingdom Crossroads podcast.
Speaker B:Today we are so blessed that you're joining us.
Speaker B:As we continue our discussion, good friend Scott Wright on end time scenarios.
Speaker B:And we've been going through some good stuff lately.
Speaker B:So if you missed any of it, go back and catch up because today we're going to be talking about, well, let's just say fire and water.
Speaker B:Do they mix or are they mutually exclusive?
Speaker B:We're going to find out today.
Speaker B:Help me welcome program Scott Rice.
Speaker B:Scott, it's good to talk to you again, buddy.
Speaker C:Hey, it's great to be here and looking forward to another, more another fun, fruitful discussion.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Now today we're going to center the discussion around second Peter Chapter three and talk about water.
Speaker B:And I'm just going to let you take it from here because I know fire and water don't mix, but yet God's going to figure out a way to make it happen.
Speaker B:Go ahead.
Speaker C:Second Peter three is starts.
Speaker C:And it's basically talking about the coming judgment which obviously impacts us this day.
Speaker C:But he also compares it back to the days of Noah.
Speaker C:And we've talked, you and I have been talking about the days of Noah.
Speaker C:So God used water to destroy the earth, but water is also a nourishment of life.
Speaker C:So you know, fire is the same way.
Speaker C:Fire, fire can be used to heat up, you know, to heat things, to cook things.
Speaker C:You know, we're not supposed to eat the, the raw flesh and the blood of animals.
Speaker C:We're supposed to cook it, which you cook that by fire and heat that up.
Speaker C:But fire can also be used to destroy things.
Speaker C:And so God used water in the first destruction of the earth.
Speaker C:When he destroyed the earth the first time, he used water.
Speaker C:And he promised through Noah that he would never do this again.
Speaker C:And obviously that's the covenant of the rainbow that he made with Noah.
Speaker C:And so water and never again would be used to do that.
Speaker C:It would be used simply to help to basically to be a nourishment.
Speaker C:Now does that not mean that there's not still some flooding or somebody doesn't drown in a lake or a river or whatever or in the ocean?
Speaker C:That still can happen, obviously.
Speaker C:But the earth is not going to be totally destroyed ever again by water.
Speaker C:However it is the second time it's going to be done by fire.
Speaker C:And think about fire.
Speaker C:Fire is used to test the elements, is it not?
Speaker C:You know, if we, if we took gold, it's refined in fire to purify it.
Speaker C:Well, the earth is going to be refined by fire and everything is going to be tested by the fire.
Speaker C:In both Moses and Paul call God an all consuming fire.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's why I was going to say God is represented by fire.
Speaker C:Yeah, fire of God.
Speaker C:I mean we call God.
Speaker C:I mean the first thing you call God is truth.
Speaker C:I mean really, if you want to say what his name is, the first thing his name is, it's truth and then it's holy, you know, but then at some point his name is fire.
Speaker C:Yeah, his name is just, his name is love.
Speaker C:His name is righteousness.
Speaker C:You know, you, you start thinking about those things.
Speaker C:His name is creator, but his name is also fire.
Speaker C:He is an all consuming fire.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker C:And he, you know, it's.
Speaker C:I have a saying that I like to use and I don't know if I've used it on this show, but I have used it in my writings and I'll use it here.
Speaker C:The word of God is a fire.
Speaker C:You can surrender, you can submit and surrender to it or you can be devoured by it.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's your choice.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:But that fire of God in one way or another is either useful to you or it will destroy you.
Speaker C:And it's the same thing in the coming judgment.
Speaker C:And Peter is talking about that here.
Speaker C:He's, he's talking about, and it says right here, if we, if we just dive in, he said starting with verse five, second Peter three.
Speaker C:But they deliberately overlook the fact that long ago by God's word, the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water through which the world of that time perished in the flood.
Speaker C:And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Speaker C:So he uses this.
Speaker B:Let me interrupt you for a second there.
Speaker B:At the same time, let's say a flood is sweeping through town.
Speaker B:Some people can survive it by getting in a boat and going with the flow.
Speaker B:I guess you could say.
Speaker B:Yeah, With a fire there ain't.
Speaker B:You know, you can't ride a fire out.
Speaker B:No, it's gonna consume what it was, whatever is in its path.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:So you know, here Noah and the people on the boat, he got through the flood.
Speaker C:Yep.
Speaker B:Know that.
Speaker B:So judgment came.
Speaker B:Everyone who wasn't in the boat perished.
Speaker B:But there were some that were on the boat this time.
Speaker B:When a fire comes through, if you're still here, it is not good.
Speaker C:No, you.
Speaker B:The only way you're going to escape this all consuming fire is to actually, literally be taken out of the earth.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:Because the fire is not going to.
Speaker B:You can't ride the fire out.
Speaker B:You know, you can, you can bury yourself in a bunker and you may not be burned, but guess what?
Speaker B:It's going to suck all the oxygen out of that.
Speaker C:Yeah, you're not going to be able to breathe anyway.
Speaker B:Yeah, you're going to die anyway, you know, So I mean.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Didn't mean to interrupt.
Speaker B:Go ahead.
Speaker C:No, that's.
Speaker C:Hey, those are great points.
Speaker C:And so that is so true.
Speaker C:And fire, when we say that God is an all consuming fire, it means all consuming.
Speaker C:It consumes everything.
Speaker C:There's nothing that is hidden from God.
Speaker C:There's nothing that the fire won't touch.
Speaker C:There's nothing it won't destroy.
Speaker C:When he breathes his holy fire, it will wipe out everything.
Speaker C:And then there'll be a new heaven and a new earth.
Speaker C:As a matter of fact, if you go all the way down in first Peter and you go down to verse 13, but in keeping with God's promises, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells.
Speaker C:But the verse right before that, as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of the God, when the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will melt in the heat.
Speaker C:Well, I mean, that again is totally describing this.
Speaker C:And that fire will consume everything.
Speaker B:When they were testing the nuclear weapons, they were worried about that verse because they said, it's going to be so hot.
Speaker B:Is it just going to be, you know, catching the atmosphere on fire and we won't be able to stop it?
Speaker B:That was one of their concerns.
Speaker C:Yeah, it was.
Speaker C:I think if you watch, if you watch one of those movies, I can't remember which one it is about that I think General Groves asks Oppenheimer, so what is this?
Speaker C:What is exactly this going to look like?
Speaker C:He said, well, there is a small chance that when this thing starts, it won't stop.
Speaker C:He goes like, what Kind of a chance.
Speaker C:1%.
Speaker C:He said, I want 0%.
Speaker C:I don't want to hear that.
Speaker C:I want to hear 0%.
Speaker B:Yeah, that.
Speaker B:You know, fortunately, that didn't happen.
Speaker B:No, they didn't know.
Speaker B:They didn't know until.
Speaker B:Well, here goes.
Speaker B:I can just.
Speaker B:You just picture him closing.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Like.
Speaker B:Yeah, okay, we're still here.
Speaker B:7.
Speaker C:You feel a countdown and it's like.
Speaker C:Yeah, that or you're white knuckling it.
Speaker C:You're grabbing the sides and white knuckling.
Speaker B:They had no idea what was gonna happen.
Speaker B:They just knew it was going to.
Speaker C:Be bad and it was coming, and there was nothing.
Speaker C:Once they got down to those final countdowns, they know there was nothing that was going to stop it.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:And of course, I mean, the pressure of getting it done at that time was immense.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:But, you know, it happened and fortunately it didn't continue it.
Speaker C:You know, it did have an ending point, so I know it turned the sand to glass, but.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:And it melted things and heated things.
Speaker B:It's like the same rate, third or fourth.
Speaker B:Third or fourth generation of that bomb.
Speaker B:I was reading that, you know, they had to change the flight pattern of the planes that delivered, you know, the plane that delivered it, because it was going to be so big, the plane couldn't fly fast enough to get it to escape what the shock wave that was coming, you know, and they had to figure out a way of doing that.
Speaker B:So they had a special flight pattern that had to go on.
Speaker B:And I mean, you know, it's just not going to drop a bomb.
Speaker B:There's a lot of residual effects.
Speaker B:Same thing we're talking about here with the fire and the water.
Speaker B:I mean, there's a lot of residual effects.
Speaker B:The water, you know, I mean, it washed everything.
Speaker B:We got dinosaur bones and stuff on top of mountains, you know, thing.
Speaker B:I mean, that was.
Speaker B:That was devastating.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:This fire.
Speaker B:I mean, this fire is going to go from, you know, Mount Everest is going to melt.
Speaker B:I mean, it's going to be huge.
Speaker C:When you say a scorched earth policy of war, this is taking scorched earth to the extreme.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Look at the moon.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Give you an idea what it'll look like.
Speaker B:Look at the moon.
Speaker B:There's no tree on the moon.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:There won't be anything left.
Speaker C:It'll just be.
Speaker C:It'll be totally scorched earth.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:So this fire thing is a big deal.
Speaker C:And so part of the reason I wanted to talk to people bring this up is that God keeps his promises and Sometimes he's slow in keeping those promises because ultimately he does not wish for anybody to perish.
Speaker C:He wants everybody to come to salvation.
Speaker C:And in Second Peter, chapter three, go to verse nine, it says the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient with you not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Speaker C:So what is the key?
Speaker C:It is to come to repentance.
Speaker C:The key to this entire passage, the key to all the things of the judgments, all the end time prophecies, all these pieces, is that very phrase, come to repentance.
Speaker C:The reason God is going to have the allow the end times, the reason he's going to do all this is because he's wanting people to come to repentance.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:I mean, you think about all these terrible judgments that are going to come upon the earth.
Speaker C:I mean, we got trumpets and we got bulls and, you know, we got seals being broken and all this stuff.
Speaker C:And.
Speaker C:And you know, you.
Speaker C:You hear about the witnesses and fire coming out of their mouths and devouring people who are trying to.
Speaker C:To attack them.
Speaker C:Well, guess what?
Speaker C:You know what all this is?
Speaker C:It all comes down to the same thing, that God is trying to make people repent.
Speaker C:They didn't repent with the soft stuff.
Speaker C:So now he's got to be dictatorial and fear and drive fear to get people to repent because that's the only way they'll listen.
Speaker C:And unfortunately, that's the way most people do listen is through fear.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:They don't listen.
Speaker C:Yeah, people get fat and happy.
Speaker C:I mean, they do.
Speaker C:They get comfortable.
Speaker B:You tell your kids, don't do this, don't do that.
Speaker B:Go clean your room.
Speaker B:Take care of this.
Speaker B:But you, you tell it, you know, here, Here's a candy bar.
Speaker B:Now go clean your room.
Speaker B:You know, and you come in, two hours later, it's still messed up.
Speaker B:You know, their face got chocolate all over it.
Speaker B:Didn't you click?
Speaker B:Why didn't you clean your room?
Speaker B:Oh, I was playing.
Speaker B:Okay, well, here.
Speaker B:Here's another piece of candy.
Speaker B:Now go clean your room.
Speaker B:You know, now what eventually happens is, where's my better?
Speaker B:I'll just say it because that's what it used to happen to me.
Speaker B:Where's my whip?
Speaker B:My grandfather had a way of.
Speaker B:Of really making me understand this.
Speaker B:He'd make me go cut my own switch, right?
Speaker C:That's old school there.
Speaker B:And you didn't want to bring back this little twig because then it got double play.
Speaker B:He go pick and you're out there like, oh man, this is gonna hurt.
Speaker B:Oh, good Lord.
Speaker B:You know, but that's how he taught and that's what God does.
Speaker B:I mean, you know, he, he tried to do it nice way because that's what you're going to hear.
Speaker B:Well, God shouldn't do that.
Speaker B:You know, he needs to, you know, be gentle and kind and draw more people in.
Speaker B:You know, you get more flies with honey, you know, type thing.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:That's what he's been doing since the beginning.
Speaker B:And now you got to cut your own switch, you know.
Speaker C:And, you know, if you think about.
Speaker B:This, God says, if I go do it and you're still here, it ain't gonna be pretty.
Speaker C:No, but if you were, if you think back to the Great Awakening, that were they.
Speaker C:What was the biggest thing that Jonathan Edwards was speaking about?
Speaker C:Fear of the Lord.
Speaker C:No, I mean, sinners in the hands of an angry God.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's one of the most famous sermons of all time.
Speaker C:There's nothing soft about that.
Speaker C:There's nothing right.
Speaker C:That's not, that's not drawing people to honey, that's, you know, that's you going and having a switch put to your tail.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:It is, it's like, I mean, fear the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom.
Speaker C:It is, you know, it, it, the Bible tells us this.
Speaker C:And so this, when God uses all of this, these terrible judgments.
Speaker C:And then eventually, of course, the fire, the scorched earth policy is really one of the ways to think about it.
Speaker C:I mean, God is trying to get everybody to come to repentance.
Speaker C:And so the fear of that fire coming should make you repent because.
Speaker C:And, and you're talking about this day and age and, and people not coming to Christ because they're too comfortable.
Speaker C:They really are.
Speaker C:I mean, that's what a lot of it is.
Speaker C:And people like, eh, I don't need God, I'm good.
Speaker C:But what it is, it's a basic, it's forgetting the basic.
Speaker C:The basic is, is that God owns the earth.
Speaker C:He is the owner of all things, which makes him the only one that has the right to decide.
Speaker C:And he is the only one that has the right to lordship and kingship.
Speaker C:Well, if that makes him all those things, that means you don't have the right to decide.
Speaker C:You know, we, in our country, in our culture, in the Western way of thinking, we, we value freedom almost like it's almost idolatrous.
Speaker C:We do.
Speaker C:And I'm not saying it's right or wrong.
Speaker C:I'm just saying we do.
Speaker C:But that is not God's number one value.
Speaker C:He wants loyalty to him.
Speaker C:Total allegiance and loyalty to him, not to all these things.
Speaker C:You know, your loyalty.
Speaker C:I know this sounds crazy.
Speaker C:It's not even to the church, it's to him.
Speaker C:It's to him.
Speaker C:You help the church and you're called to do that.
Speaker C:And that is part of being loyal to God.
Speaker C:But it's not to a pastor, a priest, a person.
Speaker C:It is to the person of God.
Speaker C:He is the one you're loyal to.
Speaker C:He is the owner.
Speaker C:He is the one that owns your heart.
Speaker C:He owns your body, he owns your eyes.
Speaker C:He owns your mouth, your tongue, your heart, your soul.
Speaker C:He has total and complete ownership of all things.
Speaker C:There is nothing that he does not own.
Speaker C:Everything in your house, all your money is not yours at all.
Speaker C:You know, hey, there's a friend of mine that always likes to say I don't see people when they're being pulled in their hurts is to their grave sites with a U haul behind with all their stuff.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker C:There's no U hauls behind that hurts, okay?
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker C:It's never yours.
Speaker C:You're just using it for a time as a resource.
Speaker C:But it belongs to God.
Speaker C:Everything on the earth, in the earth is every person, every animal, every creature, everything belongs to God.
Speaker C:And when we take that view of it, then this is easier to accept this, then you have the correct view.
Speaker C:And then you see it how God sees it.
Speaker C:And now it becomes.
Speaker C:It looks different to you.
Speaker C:If you will read the word of God with that in mind, what I just described, it will transform the way you read the word of God.
Speaker C:It will transform how you look at life.
Speaker C:It will transform how at you look, how you look at people.
Speaker C:It will transform every aspect of who you are.
Speaker C:That God owns you.
Speaker C:And he is the only one with the right to decide.
Speaker C:And here he's deciding and he's deciding that if he's.
Speaker C:He's put that element out there that fire is going to be used.
Speaker C:I've already shown you.
Speaker C:I used water to do this, but now I'm going to use fire that's even more all consuming than water as you so eloquently described.
Speaker C:Well, guess what?
Speaker C:You have a time period here before that fire hits that you can make the right decision.
Speaker C:And Peter says the right decision has come to repentance.
Speaker C:It is all about that coming to repentance.
Speaker C:And who do we come through repentance for?
Speaker C:Through Jesus Christ.
Speaker C:Yeah, Christ.
Speaker B:You know, with the flood, the people in the area could have Had a room on that boat.
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker B:That's the reason he said this is a testimony.
Speaker B:You're building this as a testimony of what's about to happen.
Speaker B:And they didn't believe it.
Speaker C:Nope.
Speaker B:Here we still have an opportunity to get away from that all consuming fire.
Speaker B:Because Jesus is our exit point.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:He is him.
Speaker B:Go enter into him, he enters into you, you escape the fire.
Speaker B:But you know, just like they found out with the flood, God keeps his promises.
Speaker B:We're going to see these promises kept too.
Speaker B:The good news is those who have accepted Christ will be witnessing it from afar.
Speaker B:You know.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Those that like, well, you know, we've been hearing this for 2, 000 years.
Speaker B:You know, you know, it's okay, it'll, it'll take care of itself.
Speaker B:Okay, sure.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's my, that's my, usually my phrase, sure, think what you want, but this is what's going to happen.
Speaker C:You know, I've, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Speaker C:Your heart, if your heart's led by the right things, your heart will understand what God is saying here and it'll embrace it.
Speaker C:But if it's not, if it's distracted, it will pull you away.
Speaker C:You have to, you have to lead your heart.
Speaker C:You do.
Speaker C:And how do you do that?
Speaker C:By intentionally seeking God.
Speaker C:When you do that, your heart will start being in the right place again.
Speaker C:It's who owns you.
Speaker C:It's all about ownership.
Speaker C:And God is the one that owns.
Speaker C:No one else owns anything.
Speaker C:We own nothing.
Speaker C:We come into the world with nothing and we leave with nothing.
Speaker C:So I, I look at it like this.
Speaker C:When I stand before God, God is going to breathe his all consuming fire on me.
Speaker C:I just want Jesus standing in front of me when that all consuming fires breathe so he will absorb it.
Speaker C:So it saves me.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:You know, you mentioned that and it made me think about a friend of mine.
Speaker B:He was, he was a short guy is in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and Arnie, I think Arnie Jackson and Arnie stood all of about five foot two, right?
Speaker B:And there is three times that he told me about where he was the only one that came back from patrol alive because they'd walk into an ambush and the VC had their ambush set where they would try and decapitate the Americans with their machine guns.
Speaker B:Army arnie was the M60 machine gunner for his squad.
Speaker B:And he'd crunch down all the bullets that go above him and then he'd open up with the machine gun and do all that said three times he was the only one that came back from this patrol alive.
Speaker B:And, you know, one time he said he thought, this is it.
Speaker B:You know, there's, you know, they're.
Speaker B:I mean, the machine.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker B:The attack was so intense.
Speaker B:He said, and he looked and there was a silhouette of a figure in front of him.
Speaker B:He called it his angel.
Speaker B:That was absorbing all of the bullets.
Speaker C:Wow.
Speaker B:And they were coming so close to it.
Speaker B:There was.
Speaker B:They were actually cutting his fatigues as the bullets were ripping through him.
Speaker B:But every time he'd move, this angel in front of him was mirroring his movements.
Speaker B:And then he said, after, you know, two, three seconds, the angel turned around just looking like, get out of here.
Speaker B:And he turned and took off, you know, but his, his fatigues had been shredded.
Speaker B:The bullets were that close to his skin.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:And he told me about this, man, this is like mid-70s when he was telling me all this, I just thought about that when you said that, you know, and.
Speaker B:Yeah, so, I mean, God has the ability to protect you.
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker B:You're in a situation that you had no control over.
Speaker B:But there's always a but.
Speaker B:Usually I'm the but that's in the middle of all that stuff.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:But if you're there of your own choosing, you chose.
Speaker B:You made a choice.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know, and it all comes down to choice.
Speaker B:You can choose Jesus or you can choose to believe something else.
Speaker C:Exactly.
Speaker B:And in the end, God will honor that choice.
Speaker C:He will.
Speaker B:That's the thing, you know, you wanted to stay.
Speaker B:You wanted to reject everything I was offering.
Speaker B:You made your choice.
Speaker B:You know, go back to the parable that Jesus told both the.
Speaker B:The rich guy that, you know, planted a vineyard and then left another country, left his workers in charge.
Speaker B:And he said, okay, it's harvest time.
Speaker B:Go see what we got.
Speaker B:And they killed the servant, killed a servant, said, I'll send my son.
Speaker B:They'll honor him.
Speaker B:They killed the son.
Speaker B:And then he said, now what do you think the owner is going to do?
Speaker C:It ain't gonna end well for those tenants.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And they, the audience even said, they're gonna.
Speaker B:He's gonna come back.
Speaker B:He's gonna deal terribly with these guys.
Speaker B:I mean.
Speaker B:And he said, and that's what I'm trying to get you to understand, you know.
Speaker C:And so, yeah, Jesus was very point blank with his parables.
Speaker B:He was, he was.
Speaker B:He didn't beat around the bush.
Speaker C:No, he.
Speaker B:He made it.
Speaker B:What I loved about with Jesus's storytelling.
Speaker B:Just like every good storyteller, he gets him leaning forward Leaning forward.
Speaker B:Oh, this is good.
Speaker B:What, what's gonna happen?
Speaker B:And all of a sudden bam, there it is as now what do you do with the truth?
Speaker B:You reject it or you embrace it.
Speaker C:I like that.
Speaker B:He get a bit.
Speaker B:Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:This good stuff.
Speaker B:Oh he's talking about us Pharisees didn't.
Speaker C:Like that back then.
Speaker C:If they'd had a sledgehammer he dong.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:The last couple minutes we got here.
Speaker B:What else you got for us in regards to fire and water?
Speaker C:Well I mean as far as fire, the again I just, I cannot reiterate enough.
Speaker C:God is an all consuming fire and his he has chosen as his plan in our end times is that fire will be the final element used to correct all that's been wronged.
Speaker C:He's going what fire is truly going to do, it's going to remove sin.
Speaker C:It's going to remove all the sinful pieces so he can start all over and he's going to create a new heaven and a new earth and yeah, you know, we're.
Speaker C:This earth is going to be reformed and sin is going to be gone.
Speaker C:There will be no more sin.
Speaker C:He will remove the sin and he will also remove all people and all or all beings I should say that are against him.
Speaker C:They will be put in another location and never again to be able to, you know, influence.
Speaker C:Influence anybody.
Speaker C:I mean that's, you know, here's the thing.
Speaker C:And Satan was made in a way that God can't quote, destroy him.
Speaker C:But what God can do is put him where he wants him, which is exactly what he's going to do.
Speaker C:That's why hell was created.
Speaker C:It truly was.
Speaker C:That's why it was created.
Speaker C:That's why it's there.
Speaker C:That's why it was manifested and made.
Speaker C:It was to take it was Satan and all the evil angels that rebelled against God.
Speaker C:That's what it was made for.
Speaker C:So that way they would be separated.
Speaker C:It was not made for man.
Speaker C:Man was never intended for this.
Speaker C:Yeah, but it's what exactly?
Speaker C:I'm going to just use what you said.
Speaker C:It's your choice.
Speaker C:The choosing is yours.
Speaker C:There's Christ or there's the fire.
Speaker C:That's it.
Speaker C:There's no other.
Speaker C:I mean Christ himself said this.
Speaker C:He said, don't fear the one that can kill the body.
Speaker C:Fear the one that can kill the body and throw you into hell.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker C:Yeah, I mean he was very point blank about this and he talked about hell way more than he talked about heaven.
Speaker B:Yeah, Amen.
Speaker C:And I think that's Something for people to consider when they read the, the red letters that you like to call them.
Speaker C:And yeah, you know, we, we cannot, we can't escape.
Speaker C:Here's what worries me these days is that we like to just pick the parts we want to listen to.
Speaker C:We don't listen to all of it.
Speaker C:You got to take it all in because God is an all consuming fire.
Speaker C:He is all these things and we got to embrace all of his character.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Well, Scott, I mean we can go on and on, but as we're out of time, if someone has a question they'd like to reach out to you, get more information, how can they get in touch with you?
Speaker C:So you can just email me at ts right@g h n global.net we're going to be, we got, I think we're going to have some pretty interesting news here in about a week or two.
Speaker C:But we're also really close to releasing the YouTube channel.
Speaker C:We've, we've now I've, we've got a social media marketing experts with us to help us get everything set up.
Speaker C:So as it's been a lot slower than we've wanted it to be, but it is moving forward now we've got the YouTube channel set up.
Speaker C:I've got people on it with me.
Speaker C:So we are getting ready to do a full launch.
Speaker C:And, and as you're aware, we're.
Speaker C:You guys need to tune in and listen to the next one because we may have some more news that I think you guys may find incredibly interesting.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And we'll, we'll touch that hopefully next time.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Amen folks.
Speaker B:Ah, it's been good.
Speaker B:You know, fire, if controlled properly, is useful.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:God is talking about how he is going to control the fire.
Speaker B:It is also going to be useful.
Speaker B:Useful for him and useful for the believers.
Speaker B:Because the fire will eliminate all of the distractions, all of the impurities.
Speaker B:Only the best will rise to the top.
Speaker B:And that only happens in through and by Christ Jesus.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:If you want protection from the coming fire, there's only one escape clause in the entire Bible and his name is Jesus.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:He's the only escape clause.
Speaker B:You can say, well, I believe this.
Speaker B:You can believe what you want.
Speaker B:Now there's some people I know that they believe we're in some kind of matrix thing, you know, where we're assimilation, you know, our lives are assimilation.
Speaker B:And in some big video game you can believe what you want, but when it all comes down and the fire purges everything.
Speaker B:There's only one thing left behind.
Speaker B:Jesus Christ.
Speaker C:Amen.
Speaker B:Now how does that relate to us?
Speaker B:Jesus says, if you are in me and I in you, that's it.
Speaker B:We have to accept him into ourselves.
Speaker B:He accepts us into Him.
Speaker B:We are then part of his body.
Speaker B:The fire won't affect him or us.
Speaker B:And I'll just let it go with that as we're out of time for today.
Speaker B:Till next time.
Speaker B:Scott, thanks again for coming on the program with Gabe.
Speaker C:Buddy, Great to be here, man.
Speaker C:Look forward to more fun, fruitful discussions.
