The Mall of Hope – Christopher Jones pt 1
The Mall of Hope
Christopher Jones pt 1
How many times have you seen a heart tugging video on television that is urging you to support feeding hungry kids in Africa or help dig wells in the Middle East or some other worthy cause? How many times have you donated to those causes over the years? Do you really know where that money goes?
“Well, surely, brother Bob, it goes to those causes, other than just a little bit for administrative purposes.” Are you sure? Have you checked?
I know, when I was working in an administrative capacity for the American Red Cross, they maintained that 90% of their donations reached the intended target for the donation. Back then, and I can only attest for back in the mid-1990’s, I can’t say for sure what it is today, they kept back 10% for administrative expenses.
But, if you really dig, most non-profits do not do that.
To help in that area, and to allow you to donate to various projects that are on your heart, I’ve invited Christopher Jones to join us today to tell us about his “Mall of Hope.”
The “Mall of Hope” operates on that 10% and 90% principle. Something that is almost unheard of in non-profits today. To discuss this and some other things he has set up to be a blessing to others, help me welcome to the program, Christopher Jones!
Christopher, thank you for coming on the program to share all about your vision and what you are doing to impact this world in a positive way.
First question, other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Christopher Jones?”
What led you to taking on the enormous project of creating “The Mall of Hope?” I mean, most non-profits focus on one thing, like digging wells or feeding the homeless. But you are taking on an entire gamut of things. How did you come to this idea?
What kind of challenges did you face while building this for the last eight years?
And you are not finished there. Tell us how you ensure the continued operations are being funded for these projects…
And most non-profits pay huge salaries to their heads and the staff, as compared to percentages being distributed to the causes, right?
Do many non-profits run a side business, to generate funds? Or do they rely solely on donations for their support?
How does your platform “Noblehire” work (for people looking for a job or businesses looking to hire)?
How does the software connect employers to people looking for employment?
Another program I found interesting was creating a memorial that you can prepare now, while you are still alive, that will bless your family for decades or more after you pass on. Can you tell us about the “Cherish These Words” program? What is it and how does it work?
So a person would record themselves and send that to you and you would make the memorial before they actually passed away, right? Is this going to be an online memorial?
The “Mall of Hope” has several different platforms attached to it. That is why it is like a “mall.” You can find different things, different stores if you will, but there will be something there that interests you and that you want to support while somebody else may be interested in something else.
I especially like the idea of obtaining the land for fruit trees and helping give people training in how they can be a blessing to others through these programs.
You also have a process in mind to cut down on grave yard overcrowding that I found interesting. Share this information with our listeners…
And there are several other programs like these on your website, which is at www.ChristopherWayneJones.com by the way, for our listeners out there. That website again is www.ChristopherWayneJones.com. But you help people in various ways on this website. This section I’m talking about right now is helping people, basically to earn an income and but you also help them to build an affiliate program. Explain how all that works…
“Noblehire” and “Cherish These Words” and these affiliate programs are all on your website, correct?
Now, these are not under “Mall of Hope” themselves. I need to make that distinction. These are business opportunities, right?
Ok, now let’s shift back to the “Mall of Hope.” I really love this concept. You have several different non-profit opportunities that will make a difference all around the world. From creating a Hearing Impaired Restaurant to planting trees to fighting poverty in Africa. You have a total of nine different projects you support through your “Mall of Hope.”
Poverty in Africa Education Graveyards Homelessness
Mattress Trees Hearing Impaired Restaurant
Pets Sand and Plastic Problem
All of these problems as well as possible solutions are outlined on “The Mall of Hope.”
Folks, you really need to check out Christopher’s website. There are so many opportunities for you on there. From seeking a job to generating additional income by sharing this information with others to donating to various projects under the non-profit “Mall of Hope.”
