The world right now, at the time of the recording, is undergoing a lot of stress. The Corona Virus is wreaking havoc all over the world right now. The world is essentially shut down. Businesses are shut down. People are out of work. Isolated. Fearful. They don’t know how they will provide for their family. Life is full of stress that many people have not prepared for.
But, in Christ, we can have victory! We can know that He is the One who is in total control. This pandemic did not take God by surprise. Make no mistake about it, the virus did not come from God. It came from the devil. But God is using it for His good. He will take what the devil meant for harm and turn it around and do good with it.
One example of this is how many people are watching, listening and learning while online. This is a time when God can – and IS – moving to reach more people than at any time in history. For some, the extra stress is creating opportunities. For others, it seems as if it is just one more weight they are trying to bear.
Today, Lloyd Portman is going to share with us some information from a coaching program he has created called, “Your Security With God.”
Lloyd is semi-retired now, but he had his own farm, he worked construction and, adding to the list – he was a pastor for 12 years of a Pentecostal Church in his town. Lloyd has helped so many people over the years because of his ability to LISTEN. He hears what they are saying and he has the God given ability to see through the clutter and bring them to here NOW of what is happening and to give the guidance of the steps they need to take forward.
He has a God given gift of poetry. Not just fanciful lines on random subjects, but on sharing the Gospel message inside the poems. Praise God!
