Be Bold and Find Your Fierce – Rachel Billups pt 1

Be Bold and Find Your Fierce – Rachel Billups

Have you ever desired to “be bold” like some of the people you read about in the Bible?  Have you ever desired to “be bold” like some of those you look up to today?  Have you desired to “be bold” but, you really do not know what that means or how you should do it?

My guest today is here to share with you some insights in those areas!  Rachel Billups is a visionary, leader and author. She currently serves as Pastor and Lead Communicator of Ginghamsburg Church in Ohio. She partners with family and young adult ministries to dream and deploy discipleship opportunities for making young disciples of Jesus Christ. Rachel is an ordained Elder within the United Methodist Church and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible/religion and History from Anderson University and a Master of Divinity Degree from Duke Divinity School. Rachel is the author of Be Bold: Finding Your Fierce. She and her husband, Jon, have four children – Adeline, Christopher, David and Sarah.

Help me welcome to the program, Rachel Billups!  Rachel, thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to join us today!

I want to get into your book, “Be Bold: Find Your Fierce” and to get some of the back story…but first, I always start with this question. Other than that brief bio I just read, tell us, in your own words, “Who is Rachel Billups?”

Ok. Thanks for telling us a little bit about your background. What kind of things did you have to work through to become, not just a pastor, but also a wife and mother of four children?

How did the Bible help to “become bold” in your life?

Give us some examples of people in the Bible who had to “be bold.”

When you first realized you had to become “fierce” in your own life, what were a few of the first steps you had to take to do so?

What thoughts did you have to overcome as you began down that path?

How did you counter resistance you encountered along the way?

At what point did you decide to help others to find their “fierce” for their own life?

What do you do on a regular basis that helps you to remain “bold and fierce?”

Have you had any feedback from others that have read your book and taken steps in their own life to be “bold and fierce?”

I know your book is available on Amazon. Is it available in book stores as well?

Rachel, I thank you for taking the time to visit with us today and give us encouragement to “Be Bold and Be Fierce.”  If someone wanted to reach out to you, to ask a question or maybe do an interview such as this, how can they do that?  How can they get in touch with you?

I’ll be putting links to all of this in the show notes below.

Folks, this is awesome! BE BOLD!  BE FIERCE!  Take charge! Amen!  You need to get this book by Rachel Billups and study this out for yourself!  Nobody will do this for you!  You need to do it FOR YOURSELF!  Do it for your family!  Do it in the Name of Jesus and take authority over things that try to “happen to you” in life!  BE FIERCE! Amen!

Go to the links in the show notes and purchase Rachel’s book right now!  “Be Bold: Finding Your Fierce” will be a great addition to your library and reading list. It will also make a great gift! That is all the time we have for today!  Rachel, I keep saying I have to get this clock fixed. On some interviews, like yours, it seems to run way to fast!

For Rachel Billups and myself, this is Pastor Bob reminding you to BE BLESSED IN ALL THAT YOU DO!
