Java with Jen
Jenilee Samuel pt 2
Are you tired of the “cliché” sayings that you often hear on ministry programs or from the pulpit? The ones where nobody ever explains what the cliché means? Are you tired of watching some of the gussed up, plastic preachers that seem to have every last detail perfectly in place?
Well, you will not get any of that with my guest, Jenilee Samuel.
My returning guest today is Jenilee Samuel, host of the java with jen podcasts. We had a great discussion in part one. So good, that we continued our discussion and now have part two – Praise God! Jenilee Samuel has been helping people to grow into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus through hearing His voice better and tackling those subjects that will help them to progress in their journey of maturing in Christ.
She and her husband, Stephen, as we learned last time, met at bible college and are pastors at a church in Orange, Texas and they are focused on discipleship. They have four young boys. They also have a non-profit organization, Free Life Missions which does mission work as well and she is an ambassador for a great non-profit that helps children all over the world, Compassion International. We will be discussing this great work and a special project she needs your help with right now.
Tell us about your non-profit that you formed, “Free Life Missions.”
You also support a foundation that helps prevent child trafficking. Tell us about this work.
Your ministry life actually started pretty young. Tell us about your time as a child in a missionary family?
What were some of the best experiences you had from that time?
What were some of the drawbacks you experienced as a child growing up in a missionary family.
I also understand that you are an online fashion stylist? Explain how that works?
And one of the episodes on your podcast, “Java with Jen” is with Hollywood actress, Crystal Lot. You talk about the Lord moving in various ways that landed her with her first leading role in a movie. But you also have a special relationship with her, correct?
If someone wanted to reach out to you, to ask a question, maybe do an interview such as this, how can they do that? How can they get in touch with you?
And if they wanted to check out the information on fashions? Maybe ask for your help in updating wardrobes and things like that? How can they get in touch with you?
Folks, I hope you got a lot of out today’s interview with Jenilee Samuel. I know I did. I love it when you can sense the Lord moving in ways that many people do not even think of when it comes to ministry. Until I was doing the research for today’s interview with Jenilee, I had not fathomed that an occupation as a fashion stylist could also be a ministry! Praise God!
