The Freedom Paradox – Bobby Albert pt 3

The Freedom Paradox – Bobby Albert pt 2

My guest today is Bobby Albert, president of “Values-Driven Leadership, LLC,” where he helps other leaders to build aspiring workplace cultures through value-driven leadership. He is an author, speaker, business consultant and a contributor on “Fox News Radio,” sharing his insight on leadership, workplace culture and employee engagement.

Just one month out of college, he inherited the family business that was burdened with debt and turned that into a highly successful company, starting twelve different businesses along the way and has acquired nine other companies on top of that. He attributes his success to focusing on creating a value-driven culture where the people are the focus and the financial results are the happy reward. In fact, this type of success earned him two awards for “The Best 100 Companies to Word for in Texas” the first two years he applied for consideration!

He has served for over 20 years as a deacon in his home church and has taught for over 30 years in high school and is an avid long distance bicyclist in his spare time, where he and his wife of over 40 years, Susan, both completed the “Hotter Than Hell 100” mile bike ride in Texas – in August.

He is an author of three books. His first book was “Principled Profits – Outward Success Is an Inside Job,” his second was “True North Business” and is a leader’s guide to extraordinary growth and impact and his third book is one which we will discuss today, The Freedom Paradox: Is Unbridled Freedom Dividing America, which cuts through the haze of hatred and polarizing politics of our day and time we see ourselves in right now.

There is one section of your book that just jumped out at me, especially with all that we see happening right now all over this nation. It deals with, what you call, the “Four Cultural Changes” that are happening in America. Can you explain what those four cultural changes are?

Do you see a way forward that will bring our culture back from these four changes to a culture that is more in line with America’s core values and purpose that we talked about a few minutes ago?

After writing two successful business books, what made you decide to write a non-business book this time?

Bobby, how can our listeners get in touch with you?
