Prayer and Financial Blessings pt 2
Being rich does not mean you have a million dollars in the bank…it means you have everything you need through and by Christ Jesus…amen!
We are in the Study of Prayer…have been for several sessions and we will continue to do so until the Lord leads otherwise – but I am believing it is to bring you up to the next level of your relationship with Jesus and the Father…amen!
Most of the prayer requests we receive in this ministry have to do with finances. So, I want to take some time today to go over praying for your finances – Biblically. We are going to apply some of the things in prayer and in the Word that have to be dealt with because they are peculiar to the area of finances, and they have to be handled in a little different manner. Some people have the idea that God doesn’t want you to be blessed financially. “Prosperity ruins the fool.” So, what you need to do is study what a fool is and what a fool does – and don’t do that anymore! That will put you in a position to prosper, amen! Where Philippians 4:19 can take over and you will be Blessed…amen..
As you study, you will find out that the poverty doctrine is not in the Bible. You can adept that concept if you want to…by taking a few verses out of context and mixing it in with some eastern style religions and things like that…but it is not God’s will for you or any believer to be poor and broke, amen!
Because of the time element involved in this broadcast, let me read some scriptures that are based in God’s Word in our Study of Prayer – then I will look at some things concerning finances specifically…amen.
Eph 6:10-18 especially verses 17-18….they talk about praying all different kinds of prayer…remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood (other people)…we wrestle against the devil..amen. Remember that. People are NOT your enemy, the devil is. So – pray with all different kinds of prayer that are specific to the need you are facing.
Today, we will look at praying for our finances and operating in God’s economy versus the world economy.
Math 18:18-19
Bind on earth not binding in Heaven…but binding in the atmosphere around this earth…that is where the devil operates. We have the name, the power and the authority to use the name of Jesus to bind the devil and all the little demons when they come against us. Use the Name…amen! The devil does not have any authority over you. He does not have ANYTHING over you. Or over your goods and money either…amen… Jesus took care of that.
I want to pray with you right now that you start to look up and pray over scriptures that have to deal with your money and finances. Not that every person here will be materially wealthy – that’s not the point – it could happen – but that is not the point. The point of all of this is to allow you to have MORE to bless the Kingdom of God with! Amen!
You cannot out give God. Period! And we will get more into this tomorrow. Amen!
