Numbers 21:7
“The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.”
Prayer and Financial Blessings pt 4
We’ve been studying about Prayer and Financial Blessings these last few days. I know that there are some well meaning people out there, misguided, misinformed and not scriptural at all – that claim it is NOT God’s will to prosper you. Maybe someone else, but definitely not you (and of course, they are not blessed either when you observe their lifestyle and finances).
You may be one of them that have been shooting your mouth off for so long – about how it’s not God’s will to prosper anyone… “Well, I don’t need a million dollars…I’m good with just my little bit here…”
Well, give the million into the ministry and keep what little bit you need….amen! If God were to prosper you…your pride and arrogance would stop you from receiving it…simply because you have been shooting your mouth off for so long in front of so many people that now you would be embarrassed to say God has Blessed you with wealth…amen…you would be passing up the best deal of your life because of pride.
Jesus has come as our High Priest, witnessed to by the Holy Spirit that He lives. And is OFFERING you His ability to manage your finances….so what do you have to offer Him in return? You lift up your offering to Him…in prayer, and say, “Jesus, I have something here to offer you. I believe, according to your word in the book of Hebrews, that you accept and administer my offering. I also believe your word that says Here – on this earth, men that die receive the offerings for you. So, I believe that Brother Bob will receive my tithes and offerings for that reason. Amen. SO, I believe you are receiving my offering and that makes me joyous, therefore, I believe I qualify according to 2 Corinth 9:8-11
“God loves a cheerful giver and makes every grace abound toward you – NOW look at that – that YOU will ALWAYS have ALL sufficiency in ALL things and that you may abound to every good work!”
He has given to the seed you are to sow…and it causes in us thanksgiving to God. I have never given an offering and had someone tell me, preacher or otherwise…NO, I don’t want it. Don’t give my any money…don’t give me anything…NO – it is ALWAYS received with Joy…it caused thanksgiving to God – every time…amen!
