The Generational Awakening  Harry Bryans

As we see things happening, which the Bible clearly tells us they WILL be happening in the final days, we also see a major problem in the Body of Christ.

Discipleship.

Rather, a “lack of discipleship.”

The Global Church is experiencing a Discipleship Crisis where as few as 10% of youth in our Christian families and churches are considered as having a clear and “resilient” faith, and increasing numbers are leaving the church.

We need an awakening by God of all the generations in the Church today to see things from God’s perspective and discover how He would have us intentionally and proactively work together to more effectively nurture our children to become Resilient, Lifelong Disciples of Jesus. Amen!

To help this effort, our guest today is leading an effort to make that happen!  Harry Bryans has over 38 years’ experience serving as a missionary on a local church pastoral team, with children’s, youth and family ministries in Europe.  He has helped launch youth ministry networks in Europe and the in the organization of European Ministry Conferences. He has served on several international partnership initiatives over the years, through Action International Ministries. He is also a John Maxwell Certified Team Member with specializations in youth and parenting. Praise God!

Help me welcome to the program, Harry Bryans!  Harry, it is so good to have you join us today. I appreciate your time!

First question I always ask is, other than that brief information I just shared… Can you tell us in  your own words, “Who is Harry Bryans?”

It sounds like your heart is deeply rooted in Youth Ministry. What motivated you to focus on that very needful area of ministry?

Other than the fact that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow, why is it so important that children grow up as disciples of Jesus from an early age?

You mentioned that less than 10% of the youth in our churches today are considered “Resilient Disciples?”

Explain for our audience what a “resilient disciple” means…

Do you see discipleship as a major failing of the church today?

Is it possible for them to realize God given talents and abilities, their purpose in life, etc. from a young age?

Can you share a bit about your book you are writing, “The Generational Awakening” and how this will help in the area of discipleship?

Why do you believe the Global Church, as a whole, is experiencing a discipleship crisis?

How does your book help to address this discipleship issue?

He did not say – “Go get people saved.” He said, “Go and make DISCIPLES.”  But we’ve lost that somewhere along the way. Most churches do not do either one anymore. I am a 12 year Army veteran as both enlisted and as a commissioned Cavalry Officer.
I am now a retired law enforcement supervisor...

I had my own business for seven years before I entered law enforcement.

As a cop, I was injured on the job on May 12, 2007 and after several surgeries over a couple of years, forced to retire in 2011.

As I was looking down the road to “what am I going to do next?” I started what is now known as a podcast (I had no clue at the time).

Within six months of starting (what I called) “My online radio program” I was offered an opportunity to be on nationwide AM radio. I learned A LOT in one year of doing that!

I then started the online Christian radio platform "Evangelism Radio" in the fall of 2010. It has had listeners in 160+ nations and all 50 states. We host 50+ Christian broadcasters on a weekly basis. We have been operating 24/7 for almost 14 years now. We have been rated #1 in the world by Shoutcast. com on several occasions in our genre. We recently transferred ownership of Evangelism Radio to another ministry so I could concentrate full time on podcasting, preaching and writing.

In 2018, I started the Kingdom Cross Roads Podcast to conduct interviews with Christian influencers from all walks of life and to play their interviews on the radio station. (The KCR Podcast has its own time slot on Evangelism Radio)!
We now have over 1600 episodes and almost 1100 interviews (in just over 6 years).

Looking out at the future of online Christian media, I noticed there was no viable platforms that catered only to the Christian podcast market.

In 2023, we launched a networking platform called, "FaithCasters" which connects "Great Christian podcasters with Great Christian Guests!" This helps to promote the work you do through podcast interviews! Check it out at https://FaithCaster.org

We recently launched "FaithCaster Academy" which serves as a training hub for ALL of our trainings (podcast training / speaker training / interview training, etc.). Members receive access to ALL of our training programs for one low, monthly membership fee. Members also receive FREE access to ALL of the LIVE trainings I conduct (1 or 2 per month) - while non-members have to pay to access the live trainings.

Between my podcast training program, conducting podcast interviews, appearing on other podcasts as guests, speaking at conferences (in person and virtually) and the podcast networking platform, I guess you could say “I’m all in” when it comes to podcasting and online media!

My total focus is to do all we can to assist you to “Get The Word Out” about your mission, services, products, ministry, books, business, etc.
