Update om Israel – Ts Wright

Pastor Bob Thibodeau welcomes back Scott Wright to discuss the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, particularly in light of Iran’s recent missile attacks on Israel. The conversation delves into how these developments align with biblical prophecies regarding the last days and the geopolitical implications for the region. Scott offers insights into Israel’s military strategies against terrorist groups and the potential for a shift in relations with neighboring countries, especially Saudi Arabia. They explore the role of international powers like the United States, Russia, and China in this evolving situation, emphasizing the isolation of Iran and the financial repercussions of military actions. As the discussion unfolds, both speakers reflect on the importance of remaining vigilant and grounded in faith amid these turbulent times, underscoring the belief that biblical events are unfolding in real-time.

Now here is your host with today's interview, Pastor Bob Thibodeau.

Speaker B:

Hello, everyone everywhere.

Speaker B:

Pastor Robert Thibodeau here.

Speaker B:

Welcome to the Kingdom Crossroads podcast today.

Speaker B:

We're so blessed you're joining us today.

Speaker B:

Our guest is T.S.

Speaker B:

wright.

Speaker B:

Again, he's coming back on to discuss what we are seeing right now and how it all relates to what the Bible says will be happening in the last days just before Jesus returns.

Speaker B:

And what's especially concerning to me right now is how we see the entire world and angst against Israel right now.

Speaker B:

When, you know, as we said several times over these past year, this past year, all they're doing is reacting to the unprovoked, barbaric attack on innocent civilians and, and trying to secure their land from further attacks.

Speaker B:

And if there's ever, ever any doubt, we're living in the last days.

Speaker B:

I mean, what we see happening right now should prove it.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

We see the war expanding, which is exactly what the Bible says would happen.

Speaker B:

We even seen a week or so ago the United nations, you know, trying to impose their authority over Israel's sovereignty.

Speaker B:

And in case you haven't read your Bible, that's the exact scenario depicted in the Book of Revelation that's going to take place in the end times.

Speaker B:

Now, Scott writes back today.

Speaker B:

He's the author of the God Center Concept Journal, has a unique insight to prophecy in the end times.

Speaker B:

And I just want to jump right into our discussion today, so help me.

Speaker B:

Welcome back to the program Scott Wright.

Speaker B:

Scott, welcome back.

Speaker C:

Hey, great to be here, Bob, and look forward to another fun and fruitful discussion.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Now, as we're doing this interview today, Iran last night just launched over 200 missiles at Israel.

Speaker B:

Is this the escalation we've been discussing would be coming?

Speaker C:

So here's what I think is happening.

Speaker C:

And I've, I've stepped back and have thought about this.

Speaker C:

And obviously Iran firing the missiles into Israel's a thing, but also Israel attacking Lebanon is a thing.

Speaker C:

You know, let's not forget that the IDF is advancing in that territory and, and they are absolutely going after any and all of these terrorist groups that surround them.

Speaker C:

And so you can tell that there is, there is a very, there is a strong intentional effort is the word I was looking for, a strong intentional effort to try to remove any and all presence away from Israel in which they could build up again, just like Hamas did in Gaza, and potentially hurt their citizens in a mass way.

Speaker C:

Now, are they going to ever probably stop the Singletons, is what I call them, the little single terrorist acts?

Speaker C:

Probably on some level, yes, but fully probably not.

Speaker C:

And I think we know that, at least not right now.

Speaker C:

However, this thing that happened in Mass on October 7th of last year is they're going to prevent that again.

Speaker C:

And I think part of what's going on is that, number one, Israel has knocked out several of their leaders.

Speaker C:

It's like every time the next leader pops up, they're not there very long.

Speaker C:

I mean, Israel has removed them quickly.

Speaker C:

Number two, we've seen them start to advance in Lebanon.

Speaker C:

And then now, number three, Iran has attacked and they're just outright attacking now.

Speaker C:

And some of their missiles got through, obviously.

Speaker C:

So there's going to be a massive retaliation.

Speaker C:

Iran has, because unfortunately, the Biden administration lifted all the sanctions off.

Speaker C:

Iran has had the money to sponsor this and build up some of their military arsenal, if you will, to be able to do what they've done.

Speaker C:

However, I do believe that what we have in at this moment is that we've got a, we've got a situation where Israel is prepared for this and they're gonna, and they're going to do it militarily.

Speaker C:

I, what I really hope is that just on a personal level is that the Biden administration, if the Trump, and if, if he doesn't win, you know, Harris doesn't win, Trump administration, that one of these administrations will step up and do what Trump did, and that is to not allow Iran to function financially and that is to put heavy sanctions on them so they can't do this again and build up their military.

Speaker C:

I would not be surprised if Israel does not go after their, their potential nuclear arsenal now.

Speaker C:

I, I would.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker C:

I think that's the next step.

Speaker C:

So now what we have is a situation of escalation.

Speaker C:

So here's the question, and I thought about this.

Speaker C:

Is this going to bring a major player into this, into this besides the US Right now we're stepping back, but we're staying like, it's kind of like we're staying right on the sidelines as the backup players that can be inserted into the game if it needs to be.

Speaker C:

So Russia right now is in a position that I'm not sure they can.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker C:

China doesn't get involved in this type of stuff.

Speaker C:

They'll stay neutral, which is what they always do.

Speaker C:

They've got their own things they want to deal with, with Taiwan and all of that.

Speaker C:

But this situation right here, watching, I, I, I'm curious to see what Russia does because they're, while they are definitely winning the war in the Ukraine, they're, they also have some issues and some of their issues is that they've depleted some of their arsenal and some of their military and they have, it has become very unpopular amongst their people.

Speaker C:

It was to in the beginning and it's even more so now.

Speaker C:

So Putin has a problem.

Speaker C:

He really can probably cannot come to the rescue of Iran.

Speaker C:

So Iran is now isolated.

Speaker C:

Saudi Arabia is going to stay on the sidelines.

Speaker C:

They're not going to get involved because we're there and they weren't going to get involved anyway.

Speaker C:

And I believe this whole thing happened because Saudi Arabia was going to normalize relations with Israel.

Speaker C:

That's exactly why I think this happened back last October 7th.

Speaker C:

So that's just kind of a ballpark, an overview of what I think has gone on here.

Speaker B:

I know, and you talked about, you know, Israel taking out the hierarchy of, you know, Hezbollah and Hamas now and, or Hamas and Hezbollah now, I guess, and the order is done.

Speaker B:

And, you know, you can almost see that it's hard for Iran to recruit replacement leaders.

Speaker B:

They're like, hey, we want you to take charge.

Speaker B:

Oh, no.

Speaker C:

I mean, who wants to step up now?

Speaker C:

I mean.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

What, how many of them have been taken out?

Speaker C:

It's, yeah, I mean, it's like, it's almost become to the point where it's like one a day.

Speaker B:

Yep.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

And Israel, as you mentioned, is now actually making ground penetration into Lebanon.

Speaker B:

And in addition to the missile attacks on their leadership, they're, you know, going after these tunnels and which are, is supposedly more extensive than even the ones they had in Gaza.

Speaker C:

Well, you know, as, and I want to throw this in because I'm guessing that a lot of the listeners here are probably wanting to know kind of what the feeling is of.

Speaker C:

Okay, so how does this attach to the end times?

Speaker C:

It's, it's what I've said before.

Speaker C:

I don't think this is it.

Speaker C:

What I think this is is like chess pieces being moved into position that will eventually set up what will happen.

Speaker C:

And look at it from this perspective.

Speaker C:

This is like One of many things we see.

Speaker C:

It's what we talked about the last time, the advent of AI and it's starting to take off.

Speaker C:

It's not there yet, but it's coming and it won't take that long.

Speaker C:

Israel is setting up where there's going to potentially be a situation where they can start.

Speaker C:

Once this gets settled, what I think is going to start happening is we're going to see more relations normalized with other countries in that area.

Speaker C:

And I think it's going to happen a little bit slower than maybe what people think, but I think it's not going to be that long.

Speaker C:

You have surveillance at a level that, the capability, level of, level of surveillance that has grown in leaps and bounds over the last 20, 25 years, ever since 9 11.

Speaker C:

That's what 911 did, is it?

Speaker C:

It made the US government became a surveillance nation after that.

Speaker C:

So you have that and that's gotten even stronger.

Speaker C:

The ability of mass transportation and mass communication on a level unforeseen in human history that is just, it's even exploding now compared to what it was five to 10 years ago.

Speaker C:

And now we have this technological society.

Speaker C:

You have Dubai, who is really starting to fit that description of Babylon the Great.

Speaker C:

You've got Israel in a position where situ.

Speaker C:

A situation where eventually we could have normalized relations with the king.

Speaker C:

I mean, and let's face it, the kingpin of that area is Saudi Arabia.

Speaker C:

Right on top of all that, this AI thing is just taking off.

Speaker C:

We have surveillance at a level we have, you know, people have been talking about the marks on the forearms and the foreheads and you know, the barcodes, that type of stuff.

Speaker C:

That's not far fetched anymore.

Speaker C:

These ideals are not far fetched anymore.

Speaker C:

And so it's kind of like we're seeing the wheel spin.

Speaker C:

And I believe this situation in Israel is a setup to what will eventually allow for this to happen.

Speaker C:

And so it's almost, unfortunately, to say it this way, it was almost necessary for the events of the Bible to eventually come true.

Speaker C:

Oh yeah, you can see it.

Speaker C:

I mean, I don't, I don't think this is the end, but I think it's setting all the pawns and the, the knights, the bishops and all that stuff on the chessboard into a position where it can happen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Think about when you remove Iran, if Iran and their influence is removed, what is to start, what is to really stop these other nations to start normalizing their relations with Israel?

Speaker B:

That's right.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Now you talked about possible targets and stuff.

Speaker B:

You mentioned the nuclear facilities.

Speaker B:

In addition to that, I've seen a news report, I believe it was last night or it could have been early this morning, that Iran is now worried about one of their major oil refineries is located at some port, but, you know, down by where the hooties have been operating and all over there.

Speaker B:

But anyway, this port contains something like 80% of all of their oil refinery in one location, and it's within missile range of what Israel has for their response.

Speaker B:

And, you know, because they were the news commentators talking about possible nuclear facilities and all that, and he goes, well, that's possible, but we also have to look at this because that would just cripple Iran's economy, you know, if they took out their oil refineries.

Speaker C:

So.

Speaker B:

And that's a, that's a possible way of crippling their economy and making a big statement all at the same time.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

No, if they think about this, what if they hit both and then the US Brings massive sanctions against them again?

Speaker C:

What are they going to do?

Speaker C:

Yeah, they'll have nothing.

Speaker C:

What will it will lead to is a revolution over there because oppression and starvation breeds rebellion.

Speaker B:

Yeah, that's right, it does.

Speaker B:

One of the things Putin's worried about, too, and his nation is, you know, things aren't going well for him over there with the Ukraine.

Speaker B:

And I mean, you know, he's making inroads, but as you said, it's costing him a lot more than he was anticipating.

Speaker C:

You know.

Speaker B:

So with that.

Speaker B:

So what do you think the US Response would be if, you know, this thing escalates between Iran and Israel?

Speaker C:

I think they will do exactly what they've been doing and maybe continue to put more presence in that area just in.

Speaker C:

And we already are, you know, the United States is already advancing more people in, in more combat troops and more, you know, ships and weaponry into that area right now, building up a potential war arsenal over in the Middle East.

Speaker C:

I think the focus is, is to, is a deterrent.

Speaker C:

I think the United States will continue to play that role unless Russia gets involved.

Speaker C:

But I don't think Russia is going to get involved.

Speaker C:

I think they're, they're in a position they really can't.

Speaker C:

And, you know, I always say this, God has a way of maneuvering things to get what he wants.

Speaker C:

And unfortunately for, you know, in this particular realm, I will just say this if.

Speaker C:

And, and we'll be armchair quarterbacks five years from now on all this, of course, but saying this now, it seems like Russia has their hands tied where they can't be involved in this.

Speaker C:

It's going to allow Israel to do what needs to be done.

Speaker C:

And it will set up a scenario where Israel, like I said, it could lead to the facilitation of relations being normalized.

Speaker C:

I mean, think about this.

Speaker C:

Russia with their hands tied, Trump gets elected, and he is the one that really pushed the Abrahamic Accords.

Speaker C:

So we know what those are about and the next step.

Speaker C:

And even Biden was trying to take that to the next step and get Saudi Arabia involved, but he allowed Iran to build up their arsenal too much by lifting the sanctions.

Speaker C:

And they were now making all the money to be able to fund all that.

Speaker C:

And had he kept the sanctions in place, Saudi Arabia would have normalized that because Iran would have never been able to do what they did.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker C:

This stuff would not have happened.

Speaker C:

And so, and, and we pretty much know that now.

Speaker C:

If Trump comes back in office, which, if I'll just say this, if, if things continue to go as they are, it looks like he will win.

Speaker C:

If they continue to go.

Speaker C:

We always have the October surprises, and we've seen a lot of crazy things happen in elections, so we don't want to be too much of prognosticator here.

Speaker C:

However, if he does win, I believe that over that next four years, you could see him calming the waters down.

Speaker C:

And it allows for relations to be normalized potentially with Saudi Arabia by the time he's done.

Speaker C:

I think that will take a couple of years to let this all calm down, but I think that will come back on the table.

Speaker C:

And I think he.

Speaker C:

Between what Israel's going to do and what he will do, it will put Iran in a position that they're not going to be able to do anything about it.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And quite frankly, Saudi Arabia is probably just fine with that.

Speaker C:

I don't think they're going to have any problem as long as Iran is contained doing that because they're, they're not an ir.

Speaker C:

You know, they're not.

Speaker C:

Iran's not their favorite.

Speaker C:

I will just say that.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

But that leads up to the other part of the prophecies.

Speaker B:

In the Bible.

Speaker B:

It says, you know, peace, peace, but there will be no peace.

Speaker B:

So even though it may temporarily bring that calming situation, it's just, that's one more step to actually what we're looking for.

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Eventually the, the peace will break down, I think.

Speaker C:

I think what you'll see is it'll slowly happen, and then whenever the vents of the world and I I keep saying it always seems like these 30s, during the 30s is the time of upheaval in every century.

Speaker C:And we saw that in the:Speaker C:

But it also led to the creation of Israel.

Speaker C:You go back to the:Speaker C:

That was the greatest explosion of shifting a the globe, almost the entire world from an agrarian society into an urban society.

Speaker C:

It wasn't just industrialization, it was, it was basically mass.

Speaker C:

It was the mass movement of people is what it was.

Speaker C:

It allowed with the train coming on, the telegraph.

Speaker C:

So we've seen this.

Speaker C:The:Speaker C:ing, the great awakening, the:Speaker C:We go back to the:Speaker C:

King Henry VII, he said no more.

Speaker C:

And there was absolutely nothing the Holy Roman Church could do about it.

Speaker C:

And it led to the English Reformation, which was the, to me, the culmination of the Protestant Reformation was King Henry VIII declaring himself head of the Church.

Speaker C:

And of course that kicked off the fifth age of the church.

Speaker C:And so the:Speaker C:

And then the printing press was being developed during that time.

Speaker C:

It was invented.

Speaker C:

Which would be the greatest invention, the most impactful invention in the last 2,000 years.

Speaker C:

Yeah, I mean there's been, hey, there's been dictator.

Speaker C:

There's.

Speaker C:

There was a dictator and I can't remember his name, but this is what he said.

Speaker C:

He said, I'd rather face the barrel of 10,000 guns than to face one printing press.

Speaker C:

I mean, he did.

Speaker C:

I was like, well that makes sense.

Speaker C:

That's how powerful the printing press is.

Speaker C:

It is.

Speaker C:

I mean, you know, the media, the press, the.

Speaker C:

I mean today, now it's.

Speaker C:

Social media has replaced mass media as the ultimate, as the ultimate vehicle for transferring news because nobody trusts mass media anymore.

Speaker C:

It's got less trustworthiness than Congress and the President.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

But you understand what I'm saying, it's these 30s.

Speaker C:would make sense that in the:Speaker C:

And this could just be another event that's a setup.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Probably so.

Speaker B:

Well, Scott, we're about out of time.

Speaker B:

How can someone get in touch with.

Speaker B:

They have a question or they like more information.

Speaker C:

You bet.

Speaker C:GCC God Centered Concept:Speaker C:

You can email me and reach out.

Speaker C:

Hey, we'll.

Speaker C:

Speaker C:

We can talk whatever it is you would like to do.

Speaker C:

Right now, we're revamping our entire ministry and we're revamping our podcast, and we're pretty close.

Speaker C:

This has taken a lot longer than I wanted it to, but we, we're creating a YouTube channel and we're doing a lot of stuff.

Speaker B:

We're.

Speaker C:

We're going to add things to it that were not in place before, including just giving a little tip here.

Speaker C:

We may actually do some type of a news feed.

Speaker C:

So we're, we're working on that.

Speaker C:

And that may take a little longer, but we're.

Speaker C:

We're working on doing that.

Speaker C:

I would like to have a situation where we have a channel open 10 hours a day with stuff going on it all the time.

Speaker B:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

That's good.

Speaker B:

I'll put links in the show notes below.

Speaker B:

Praise God.

Speaker B:

Amen.

Speaker B:

Well, folks, I want to remind you that this is a fluid situation.

Speaker B:

By the time you hear this, there'll be other news going on.

Speaker B:

We may be into World War 3 or there may be a weakened Iran.

Speaker B:

We don't know.

Speaker B:

All we know is one thing is for sure, the Bible is absolutely true, 100% true.

Speaker B:

What it says will happen, will happen.

Speaker B:

And I want to remind you as we get ready to close that in these last days and times in which we live, we're reminded to look up for our redemption as drawing near.

Speaker B:

Scott, appreciate your time today.

Speaker B:

Looking forward to the next one, buddy.

Speaker C:

Hey, thank you for having me.

Speaker C:

And yes, absolutely.

Speaker C:
